SUN will promote sensible Internet filtering, which if carelessly designed can filter out most legitimate nudist sites as well as adult sites for which it is intended. This can have a large impact on the public libraries, where nudists may go for nudist information, only to find all references to "nude" or perhaps even "nudist" or "nudism" blocked from public view. The nudist community can help to alleviate this situation by presenting nudist web sites without gratuitious nudity, and restricting full frontal nudity to appropriate places. Also, careful analysis of web site keywords and search engine information can improve nudist web site performance while improving the web site's profile on the Internet. By keeping this in mind, when upcoming changes are made to library Internet filtering, your nudist site will still be visible to the general community.
