That's right- I'm happy to report that the former owners of the beloved Cherokee Resort are now reopening part of the property that was used for this previous resort to start a new one, of sorts, called Cherokee Garden Of Eden. (I'm not sure if I'd call the next setup a "resort", as it will only have primitive camping as a start- but the small church that was at Cherokee Resort is there, and I wouldn't doubt that they're planning on expanding this quickly.)

The grand opening was planned for this weekend- but has been postponed until 3/31 because of cold temperatures forecasts!
