...is located between mileposts 95 and 96 on Highway one... 10 miles north of Santa Cruz. Park in the dirt parking lot on the west side of the highway and follow the path from the north end of the parking lot down to the beach. Hole in the Wall is seperated from the south end of Panther Beach by a hole in a wall of rock. Go thruogh the huge hole... which looks like a cave. In this photo I am already on the Hole in the Wall beach side... and you can see the "Hole" that leads back to Panther beach just behind me and to the right. Once you get here... you will be on the beautiful 200 yard long beach. Hole in the Wall is about two miles north of Red, White and Blue beach... and it is the Daiblo Sun Devils very favorite beach near Santa Cruz..!

I have gone to this beach and others in the area a number of times over the past few years. It is very nice and I would recommend it to anyone. However, the beach is at least a 1/4 mile long instead of 200 yards. Maybe it has grown larger in the past few years. Remember that alot of sand is washed off of these beaches in the winter months only to return in the spring. There is only one way in and out on this beach so check the tides on the WEB before you go. Even if the tide is in, I as well as others, also go nude on Panther beach at it's North side.
You are right... it is longer than I said it was... and it is at least a 1/4 mile long beach.
But... there is more than one way out. We have been there several times when you could not get back through the hole because of the high tide... and there is a trail up the cliffs at about mid point on the beach that takes you to the fields above.
Anyway... I love being nude at the beach and Hole in the Wall Beach... Gray Whale Cove... and Baker Beach are some of my very favorite's and great beaches for women to enjoy naturism here in Northern California..!
