I'm so glad I can bring my dog after this weekend. We were wondering when dogs were allowed.

We went on Wednesday. One of the regulars told us a couple got arrested for having sex on the beach. We didn't see anything out of hand, perv-wise or sex-wise at all on Wednesday, just a nice quiet day at the beach. On a side note, can someone help me post pic for an avatar. I have checked the FAQ' but is was no help. I keep getting numerous error codes when trying to upload pic.I have shrunk the pic to 1/4 of original size and still wont upload. THANKS

I've talked to some of the regulars and found out some of them go year round to Gunnison. They bring clear tents(?) and stay for a few hours. So, when do you stop going? We may hit the beach a few of more times but it looks like the beach season once again is coming to an end.

I'm hoping the weather holds up this weekend. I'll probably be down on Sunday if it does. I was able to go last weekend and it was great.

The water was pretty warm Wednesday. Still a little rough. Remember the lifeguards are gone. The parking lot was about half full at 1 PM. Met someone from the forum there (revamped). We had a great day. Left about 6 PM.
