I have a question about Hidden Beach Resort in Cancun Mexico. Has anyone been there and can you please tell me if it's on the level or is it not what it looks like on their web site. It sound almost too good to be true. Please let me know if you or anyone you know has been there.

not sure but my band , shane gentry and the nekkid monday band , will be playing there this saturday. ill post a full report on the festivities.but if it helps , i have never heard anyone ever have anything negative to say about their visit there. later shane

Tommy, I went to HBR in the fall, but it hardly matters - the Yucatan is warm and humid year round. The resort is as nice as it appears on the website. The food is usually good, occasionally very good. The people there were very nice. The pool is exceptionally nice. The beach is ... well, not much of a beach. Some recent reviews on tripadvisor.com have complained about maintenance problems, but in my experience HBR was above average for Mexico. There was a complaint a few months ago about the presence of a contingent of swingers and loud partiers, but that seems to have settled down. I had a great time at HBR, and plan to go back in 2006.
