So, my size wouldn't be something to feel sensitive about?
I am nude much of the time I am home- I wrote that first post while nude. Unfortunately, I live in an apartment, so I can't sunbathe nude, nor can I walk in the yard.
I have a concern of that natural reaction males have to women, but I suspect that would be easily covered until such time as things return to normal.
Do these clubs ever have chances for new people to experience and try without having to buy a membership?
Is a single male allowed to attend? If not, is there a way to meet a female for accompaniment without there being anything covert or overt implied?
Also, I know smooth is in, but I was given a bit more hair than normal on my back and chest. Not a full, thick mat- just a little more than averae. Is that an issue?
I have so many things I am curious about, but only a few come to mind at a time.
Size does not matter. Some shave, some don't. It's a personal choice and have nothing to do with nudism. I am not a smoothie. The nudist parks I mentioned do welcome single males. However, you should call ahead of time to ask if whatever day you plan on visiting would be okay with them. You do not have to buy a membership in the club. National organization membership will get you a discount on daily grounds fees. It's less expensive to buy that through a club than directly at those organizations' websites.
Re: Erections. There are a lot of pages on this website and others regarding that. This is the most asked question from those who are interested in trying nudism for themselves. Anticipation is expected when you try something for the first time, be it driving a new car, skydiving, or going to a nude beach or nudist club/resort. The anticipation, apprehension (medically speaking) usually prevents an erection from occurring. However, since bare etiquette demands one sit on his or her own towel, should an erection occur, just cover up since you don't want to offend anyone.
In my 30+ years of being a nudist and visiting more than 55 clubs, camps, and resorts plus a few beaches, I've only witnessed it twice: once when someone was sleeping and the second time the fellow was asked to coverup or leave. I know it's a normal function, but it can and does offend some folk.
Nudism is not just an outdoors thing for most or just sunbathing w/o clothes. To me it's how I live, clothed when practical and nude when possible. Even if I have to wear clothes, I am nude beneath them.
Regards, Cheri

I have a comment, nudism is about being your natural self, every one is different some small, some large, some harry, some smoothe, some bald and some not. so relax enjoy what you are, and if some one else looks down on you for it , then its their loss. not yours

Hey Travis,
I just thought I'd post my views, too. I'm pretty active in my local church (a Presbyterian church), including helping out with Vacation Bible School for the kids this week. Just yesterday I shared with another member of the church that I'm a nudist and she mentioned that she's typically nude at home and would love to try out Christian Naturism sometime as she's heard of it. I was impressed by her reaction! Not that everyone in my church knows (yet), but I'm not shy about the fact either. In Sunday School last week we got to talking about how I came back to the Lord again after a long absence. I mentioned that the biggest influence was an article I read about Christian Naturism and that a lot in the article made sense to me. A few small comments were made about how God provided cover for us after we sinned, but I was able to respond to that and we moved on with the conversation.

This is so much more common than I ever imagined and it seems like the bible isn't as anti-nudity as I thought. Still we have many older perishoners and I'll have to be careful who knows at first.
I've recently returned to the church after a 15 yr absence. I always felt like I had better plans for my Sunday (sleeping late and NASCAR). My return has been incredible rewarding and people have welcomed me like I was never gone.
Thanks Melissa.

Travis,
I've found people to be very welcoming as I've come back, too. It's like I was never gone. They're already placing me on children's committees (Sunday School and Pioneer Girls) as if I was there all the while.

For Paula's, my girlfriend, birthday, she and I took a weekend trip to New Orleans two weekends ago. It was on her birthday that we became engaged to be married. We haven't told our folks yet. She wants us to tell them together. We'll be telling her dad tomorrow and my parents Saturday. It's not like they don't all suspect. My 6 and 9 year old niece and nephew both call her Aunt Paula, her dad's given his blessing and said (he's 79)"I'm not walking as good as I used to so you might want to hurry up", my aunt has offered to hold the bridal shower, and my mom has already come up with a guest list for my side of the family and has offered her original engagement ring. We don't have a ring yet due to money and her ring finger size (3 1/2). My mom's original engagement ring is size 5. The rings Paula likes have stones on the side of the center stone and start at size 7. When resized to her needs, the side stones are now touching her pinky and middle finger. Even co-workers are suspecting. Some have even started a betting pool to bet when are we officially engaged. They wouldn't let me put my money down in the pool. I wonder why? Though she's not a nudist, she's become comfortable with the two of us being nude together within the home and is willing to skinnydip if the opportunity presents itself. She's also saving herself until she's married. Let's just say she's been a good girl and she's 37. Who knows, maybe we'll win the lottery and afford a home with a private pool to allow us plenty of skinny dipping opportunities.
We the willing who are led by the unknown must do the impossible for the ungrateful.

I'm just curious... did anyone else receive a spam letter in their e-mail box today from some guy in Nigeria asking you for help with his situation (having nothing to do with nudism)? It was one of those dumb letters we all have probably received in our e-mail at one point or another.

Woops! I meant to say in my PM box, not my e-mail. I get the e-mail ones frequently, but this is the first time I've gotten one in my NRO PM box.

Yup, I got it too. It's from a scammer who's member name here is Rootz. If anybody else gets any PMs from that name, just delete them. After all, only one of us can be the DEPUTY CHAIRMAN/C.E.O. of his 5 star hotel. Me As if.
Kevin, can you make him go away?
Randy
Here's what the BS looks like:
ATTENTION MY GOOD FRIEND,
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING MAIL AND CONTACT ME LATER. I AM DESMOND PARKER, A LIBERIAN LIVING IN EXILE IN NIGERIA. I AM LIVING WITH PRESIDENT CHARLES TAYLOR WHO IS ALSO IN EXILE IN NIGERIA. I WAS THE PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO TAYLOR ON FINANCIAL MATTERS WHEN HE WAS IN POWER.
THERE IS A PROJECT I DO LIKE TO CARRY OUT WITH YOU HERE IN NIGERIA: THERE IS A PROPERTY TO BE SOLD BY THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT WHICH IS KNOWN AS ALLIED BUILDING, WHICH USED TO BE THE HEADQUARTERS OF A COMMERCIAL BANK KNOWN AS ALLIED BANK, THAT IS NOW DESTRESSED.
I WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE THIS PROPERTY AND AFTER THAT I WILL CONVERT IT TO A FIVE STAR HOTEL. I WILL COMPENSATE YOU BY MAKING YOU THE DEPUTY CHAIRMAN/C.E.O. OF THE HOTEL WHEN THIS HOTEL BECOMES OPERATIONAL.

THE COST OF THE BUILDING IS $10MILLION AND I WOULD BE EXPECTING YOUR REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE FOR ME TO GIVE YOU MORE DETAILS.
