Cloudy---at one of our beaches I go to when I can there are several info signs put up by the state parks division being there is about a mile walk from parking to the nude beach the second sign you see which forks to the right says on it Nudes may be present on trail to the beach below, so I assumed myself that the walk down to beach which is still a good 300 yard hike down that nudity would be common. I didnt see many nude people walking maybe 2 out of the 8 I passed by , I asked them how safe it was to walk down nude they just said well you take a risk but your risk is lower if you get undressed after that marker on the trail. Our C/O beach though is often frequented by tourists even families who walk down just to get a look down from the small cliff over top of beach about 75ft up so no need for binoculars to get good look at the naked people. I find it amusing to see a family enjoying the view so I just face frontal nude to them and wave.

I got stopped by the park rangers at the nude beach I go to for being nude in a non-nude area. I didn't know it was non-nude because the signs were in French, and I don't speak or read it. I thought the sign was saying that you would encounter nude people beyond that point. I guess the sign was saying that you could only be nude on the beach, but once you came up to the trail along the beach, you had to be clothed. When I explained that to him, he was understanding and I slipped on my sport kilt.

Renobiker ,,,, This beach didn't have any signs. ( signs would of been nice )Just heard of thru word of mouth. I'm not sure I would have gone nude anyway. With the wind and the chilly temp, it wouldn't of been comfortable. And, another problem. The yellow flies had license plates. If they would of bit you in the "delicate" areas, they would of carried away a chunk. This was a first for either of us, never been on a nude anything. Since then, nude at home is common for both of us and once in a while for the wife when in public. I don't care, I'm nude when I can be, inside, outside, public or not. Just like the feel of it.

I think I found also the most accepted nudity if any was at the general changing showering facility area, the outside rinsing showers were in the open and co-ed of course but it wasnt uncommon at the beaches where I went for you to see randomly a nipple on a woman, pubic hair on everyone just from people rinsing sand out of their suits I cant count how many people saw me rinsing off with my velcro undone on my swim shorts and you could see my bush but women did same thing too it was kept to very minimum it wasnt like a flaunting thing just happen to get peeks as people did their thing.

We have done this on a beach in Cape Cod. We were riding bicycles on a hot day, got to a beach that my wife said "used to be nude." We went off to the side, took off our sweaty clothes and jumped into the water. Then got out, dressed and left (I even took a photo of my lovely wife). Nobody said a word. I do think that if a woman/women are involved, people are less likely to complain. Sadly, a single male doing this is often seen as an exhibitionist.

We have never been nude on a public non nude beach, but we have been nude on a few deserted non nude beaches. Does that count?

Of course it counts ... well ... I'm counting it anyway! LOL
Ya know, I did forget one time when the Prof and I went down to San Onofre for the day. I was nice at home but when we got down to the beach ... cold, overcast and breezy. We didn't drive ALL that way just to turn around so we walked down to the beach. We got down there and there was NO ONE down there. We decided not to walk all the way down to the nude sections so we just made camp closer to the road down to the beach and by the lifeguard stand, which is technically the public, non nude section of this state beach. It was almost kinda scary, no one in the parking lot, no one on the beach. We set up and used our umbrellas as a wind break and that helped to warm things up a bit. We stripped and enjoyed the beach for about ... 30 mins!
It was just too cold. We were bound and determined so we sat bottomless with sweatshirts on for another 30 mins more but couldn't last any longer. We slipped on our shorts, hiked back up the hill, where it was a bit warmer and took our clothes off in the empty parking lot and drove home naked! Spend the rest of the afternoon laying out by the pool ... which is where we should have stayed for that day! LOL
Loves being naked. Plays well with others!

Last night I was watching a History Channel program about 19th century politicians. One of their items concerned President Adams. It seems that Adams commonly walked from the White House down to the Potomac river and went skinny dipping. We once were a free country of free men.

Yeah, things are more relaxed in other countries. I remember we were once on a mini-cruise of some tiny Greek islands. The boat would dock and you'd have a couple of hours to explore the port town. After a couple of these stops, we decided to check out the local beaches instead. We walked to the far end of the clothed beach and discovered some naked people. It turns out they were on the same cruise as us. We all got some sun and then hiked back to the boat. I wouldn't plop down right in the middle of a textile beach, but if you take the time to walk off to the side, it's seems fine. We did this on at least two islands. I've heard it's not unusual in other European countries, especially Spain.

We have camped a couple times on Cape Lookout in NC. It's great place for some nude time on a non nude beach, it has a few people on the weekend until about 6 o'clock in the evening when the last boat back to the mainland leaves. However through the week it seams like you have the island to yourself.
With some common sense you can spend some great nude time there with only keeping a towel handy. The ladies will like the fact that it is perfectly legal for them to go topless there so all they would need to do is wrap a towel around their waist to cover up too.
We have had some people see us nude from a distance cause we didn't cover up while we were in our campsite. Most people go there for the open beach and the freedom you have there, so some nudity doesn't really seem to upset them.

With a little bit of a walk, it is very easy to find some secluded areas on the beaches of Sleeping Bear Dunes in northwest Michigan. Been nude numerous times over the years.

there are alway quiet desolate spots to enjoy some nude times you just have to be aware of your surrounding and put some distance between you and others. one of my favorite places is a well used state park that i kayak and it just a matter of finding areas that others don't use.
