Last night was my first time nude outside. It was raining and cold, however. I didn't go in my front yard. I'll make sure I do that tonight.

If it's cold and rainy being nude is a lot more enjoyable inside.
If you can't go out in the daylight for whatever reason then try going to a club you will like it there.

Rain, cold and being nude don't go good together but its a start, I agree with Pat find a club or maybe a nude beach. If your nervous about being seen nude just remember they are also nude. And don't worry about those models at the clubs, most nudist are average looking folks that come in all shapes and sizes.

Bob, you're as right as rain. The next time you go to the theater, or other function where there a lot of people, take note of how many average looking folks there are there. Apply that proportion to the people at a nudist resort. Again, most are average - some obese, many a few pounds overweight, some skinny, some athletic, some with surgical scars, or tattoos. We come in all varieties that you see everywhere else.

I haven't done the cold rain at night thing yet but there is nothing like the first time out in the warm sun nude for the first time. I'd be a millionair if I could bottle and sell that feeling...

I'm w/u on that one! If I could bottle it and sell the feeling like a fragrance, hey theres an idea I know a chemist perhaps I could ask him. Maybe we could all poool our recourses and make a few bucks. sounds like a plan 2 me!

new nudist it was 71 degrees outside today and I went hiking nude for 3 hours had a great time, when it warms in your area and there are no nudist venues nearby make one, scope out some parks or woods a river or even a creek to stick your feet in, by no way get caught just be caucious, find a spot during the weekday if you can when most people are at work. enjoy you only live once, these will be great memories when you are 90.

My first time nude outside was when I was 13 at my parents house I found the most hidden spot in the backyard had a towel in hand laid in down then looked for anyone around laid down then got up looked again..fear made me keep looking then I laid down on towel again and took off shirt and only slid down my bottoms enough to allow air and sun to hit my genital area for about 2 minutes then thought I heard a noise put them on fast and looked around saw nothing so I knew I was ok..but at that age I was scared to death lol.

Reno, I know that feeling of having to keep looking around. When I moved into my first apartment, I lived on the 13th floor of a building near Toronto. The building was 16 floors or so and I one day found that the door to the roof didn't lock. So I went up there to check it out. I found this nice secluded corner of the roof, behind the huge air conditioning unit and thought it would be a perfect place to lay out nude. So I started bringing an old comforter up there and laying out. But I was constantly looking around to make sure nobody was up there, every noise had to be investigated, etc.

About the time I was 13/14. I began wanting to spend more and more time naked. Was sleeping naked by then and finally had the opportunity to spend the entire day at home, by myself, while everyone else was gone for the day.
We were surrounded by houses, all single story but fairly close together, but had a nice area where it was private enough. Got me a lounge chair from the garage, a towel and a cold drink. My first nude outdoor adventure was cut short by the guy that lived behind us. I could hear him walking out toward the wall to tend his garden. I got up, scurried over to the wall and knelt down. He always had a habit of looking over. He did, walked back to the middle of his yard and I walked back inside. I think I got a whole 30 mins that time but there were other times where I spent most of the day and wasn't bothered.
My wife's first time was at our very first "house" we rented. For the first year of our marriage, we were in apartments but once our daughter was born, we moved into a 2 bdrm house with it's own backyard. We'd go out there and sit naked in the evenings when it was dark enough and have a drink and talk, after our daughter went to sleep.
After her first nude outdoor time, my wife always looked for other times to get out there and enjoy nudity outside. Subsequent homes we rented were always evaluated for the ability for us to be naked outside. The hardest one was the house we rented that was the rear house on our landlords lot and his house was the front house. His backyard was our front yard. Made it quite difficult to get outdoor naked time there BUT ... we really liked and wanted to rent that house. We made do ...

Yep. I have to move next year, so I've already been searching real estate to get an idea of what is out there, and that's one of the criteria I look for in a new place.

I've thouight about getting my real estate license and being a "nudist" realtor out here in my area. I don't need the money, enough, to pound the pavement everyday to get listings and to see or buy property but I know what to look for in a nudist friendly home, be it for rent of to buy and I'd love to be able to do that for nudists ... and for us! LOL

PS ... one thing I forgot to mention was that ... after I got out of the Navy, I wanted a "van" so badly that I finally bought one and began working on it to customize the inside and out. Big tires, wheels, "captain's" chairs for the Prof and I and then went crazy inside. Multi colored shag carpet, paneling and I built some cabinets and a full size bed.
A few times, it was so warm outside that the Prof and I would park the van just so ... so we could leave the front door open to one of our rented houses, and leave the back doors open on the van so we could hear our daughter if she cried and we'd walk out naked to the van, lay on the bed and listen to music from the house and a few times ... we fell asleep. I'd get up and go in, turn off the stereo and then head back out to the van and crawl into bed with the Prof, covered in just a sheet.

This is no bull ... the Prof cried all the way home and off and on the next day, after I traded the van in for a Toyota Pick Up ...
She was NOT a happy camper ... but the van was falling apart and I needed a reliable vehicle to get to work. We adapted and overcame the loss of the van!
