I don't know, or much care, who NickPozk might be, but I am surely tired of him clogging up this site. Could Admin or Moderator kindly deal with him?

I've deleted all his messages, some that were not visible as they needed to be moderated. His IP will be blocked by the Administrator in a couple of hours.

Kind of brings new meaning to the term Weekend Warriors, huh?
This guy, his IP, and the horse he rode in on, are totally banned, the irritating twit.
Looks like we'll be carrying the laptops around from now on for anything more than a trip to the grocery store!
In the future, everybody, be careful NOT to click on any questionable links posted by people like this. A website can be harmful just to VIEW these days. Just let the Moderator or Admin know about the questionable links or spam, and we'll remove them and block the spammer.
NaturistDoc, I asked her to tone that down a bit from grievous bodily harm in the extreme.

Bob, All his 30+ notes have been deleted. I've emailed the Admin to block his IP. Even on a broadband connection, it took almost a half-hour.

This type of issue has happened and continues to happen to several sites. We get some of this type of stuff on the AANR message board as well.
Is there a program that can be installed or a new procedure to log on so the Administrator or Moderators can prescreen some of these people before they start posting?
Or maybe a couple more Mods to help out and give the Administrator some help.

I doubt there is any sure-fire way to keep the bad ones completely out. We'll just have to keep watch and holler when they rear their ugly heads. :)

I'd have to disagree with you on that backyardnude. I belong to a site where the Administrator and the Moderators prescreen possible members prior to admitting them on the site.
IP addresses are cross checked with where these members say they are located and that usually gets them to come clean or leave because they have been outted.
Profiles are required and new members are watched for post content. Any funny stuff and they are banned quickly.
Don't get me wrong...........I think the Mods and Administrator get those that need banning banned quickly here as well but if there is someway to lessen their workload on this particular issue, I'd be all for it to help them out.

Bob, If you will notice, all his/hers/its posts have now gone into the black internet hole. We check this website usually mid-morning and late afternoon, reading each and every new message. We delete or move when possible that which are spammers, incorrectly placed messages, etc.

Another One Bites The Dust.
Thanks for the alerts, folks. Yes, we already do a few things to slow the spammers, such as restricting emails to experienced posters. Some of these new suggestions we'll take into consideration as well at our upcoming upgrade of the software. Good thinking.
All in all, it's worth the price to have this great forum, with all the decent folks here. Look forward to great improvements soon!
