Ok, Plain and simple i'm a closet nudie, i'm neked at home only. But, I have a rather "Nosey" lab. She is a female chocolate lab and quite simply will not keep her nose to herself, so now i'm not a closet nudie. Any help is welcome. I'd like to keep the dog but How do you train a dog to not sniff your privates?

Sniffing these areas is something dogs do as part of their process of creating a dominance hierarchy. You should never allow dogs to do this to humans. Anyone who specializes in obedience training should be able to help solve this problem for you.

Thanks, I have actually done most of her training and am looking things up online. It's a rather embarassing thing but i guess until she gets this trained out of her i will have to stop alltogether my skyclad rites and just being comfortable.

YA!!! Well After some hours, patience, and a whole lot of milk bones and water, I have got my dog to sniff not mine, well, area. Ok That was just plain odd but that's me, odd. What I did for anyone who wants to know is that anytime she wanted a sniff i used a spray bottle, on stream, and firmly told her no. at each no I sprayed her with the water (not in the eye, but close to the face/mouth area) and anytime she didn't sniff there (after I told her too) she got a milk bone. Now, yes you might have to tell the dog to, i did to get the process over faster. can't train a dog only when she decides to do it; it would be hard to carry everything around all the time. But now, even when commanded to sniff, she does not. I don't know it is a strange way to do it. but it worked.
Umm, can someone give me a better sig?
