Taboos from the past still haunt us! Also what is spouted as the 'prefect' body leaves some feel that they do not belong. We are what we are and many of us can accept that. Like one person told me once 'round is a shape'! Being on the older side, I do not have a great body but what I have is mine. Hope that the ladies will one day be able to think, believe and say the same thing.

We have been going to nude beaches for around 25 years and through the years we have seen a change for the good. When we started the M/F ratio was 5 or 10 to 1 with only a few couples. Now the couples by far out number the singles with the ratio nearing 1 to 1.

I agree with Diger ... except in our neck of the woods, this happens on the weekends and not so much during the week. Weekdays the single males still outnumber the couples and by far, the single females. On weekends, couples and lots of single females visit our nude beach and it's a much better mix of nudist demographic.
Loves being naked. Plays well with others!

Certainly here in Oz the men outnumber the women at every beach I have been to. I was pleasantly surprised recently to find a few more women and some younger women. Its holiday time at the moment so maybe that brings a few more people out. I think the reasons here are what the females on the forum were saying that girls are generally taught to be careful about their bodies from a young age, same generally applies down under.

Guess we have been lucky at our beach, weekdays or weekends it doesn't make any difference the M/F ratio is near 50/50. With the single males being so out numbered they tend not to be much trouble, although last June I did have a talk with one guy about leaving his phone/camera in his bag. I have my self, and seen others as well, call pervs out for bad behavior on the beach. This is needed from time to time to keep them under control which will keep the ladies comfortable and aid in a good M/F ratio. The guy last June decided his phone was better off in his bag than in the ocean. LOL

A few more women at the beach today. 3 young women near me kept their bikini bottoms on, first timers I reckon but good to see some younger women around. They took photo's of themselves and each other especially when one was game enough to get it all off and run into the water, all good fun. I don't think they took photo's of anyone else although they were having a laugh at the various men parading past of all shapes and sizes (literally) but that's OK, its a novelty thing, they were also ogling the shapely butt of a young guy on the other side of them, it was quite funny really, showed their inexperience I guess.
