Thanks for your reply Diger.
Kind of gives us some comfort knowing others may have had the same misgivings or concerns.
But the turning point was really an issues I quess with the CO thing - we didn't want to be standing there in the nude talking to some people wearing swimsuits or even jeans and t shirts. Kind of defeated the purpose.
We talked it over and over and if we were going nude we wanted to be in that environemt. Nothing to hide and for us to be on a level playing field I quess you could say.
We would describe ourselves as nudists, we enjoy being in the nude. So can someone enlighten us on why there is this term "Naturists" - seems rather funny.

juddo01, A CO resort is not that bad cause nearly everyone is nude. Mostly the only clothed people are the reluctant spouse, and Nudity is required in the Pool, Sauna, Hot Tub areas.
I'm not trying to talk you in to anything, cause sounds like you are doing what's right for the two of you, but I just thought you might want to know.
Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

Hi Cheryl, I'm new here but your post reminded of something. When I was in radio and having trouble learning something new, my voice coach would ask me what I was afraid of? What do you think is going to happen if you don't do it right? Try the same approach for yourself. Try asking yourself what you are worried about. Are you afraid of a bunch of nude people seeing you nude? Is it like that old dream of being the only nude person at a party? The biggest shock for most people on their first visit to a nude place is that nothing happened when other people saw them nude. You were nervous at first, then started to relax, then finally wondered what all the fuss was about. Try it. It will be OK. tom

Thanks Diger,BaltoBob and whatshisname. All good info and points. Balto - you sent a link for a CO place which we virtually warned off. Some pics have turned up on the voyeur type websites and at one stage from their website was a link to MetArt - yep nudie pics. So we kinda thought twice. Diger - we'll let you know for sure - might even make a blog about it. And whatshisname - I think your right, whats the fuss about.

This is going to be our first time as public nudists and we are not a bit scared, we are very excited. My partner and I have discussed everything and we have been ditching our clothes almost the minute we get to the house. We enjoy time outside in our lanai and the feelings of being free and feeling nature, pure nature on our bodies is great. We both enjoy going to the beach and love to tan without the lines, we are heading to Apollo this Sunday. I sure hope the weather will be good for us as we are looking so forward to going. We will look for a club or a resort when the weather chills out too much. Thanks to all for the good information that is shared here.
