"Nudism" in a nutshell, elevator pitch style
A Contest--
Your good friend, with no experience as a nudist, has won a free week for two at a nudist resort. (Let's just say we don't know which one.) He tells you he and his wife have no idea what to expect and can use some pointers, but they are in a hurry to catch the plane.
What is your in-a-nutshell, elevator pitch style, really short, all inclusive set of instructions for a total newbie heading to his first time experience? Please limit yourself to one sensible paragraph of around 10 sentences or less. Let's see who can come up with the best one.

Enjoy the experience and remember that all around you will be nude as well so do not feel that anyone will be looking at you. The freedom of being without clothes will be th most exillerating thing you will ever feel

Congrats, you very lucky people, I'm green with envey. Of course nudity will expected, you need only to pack tooth brushes&paste, sun tan lotion, hats and wear a smile. Sunburn can be a pain esp.where you never burnt before. Leave the cell phone and camera in the suitcase and have fun.

I would probably say what I did earlier today. At the doctor's office, a new technician was in formed by me I am a skinnydipper as I don't like sitting around in a soggy, wet swimsuit chafed by sand. She couldn't believe my age (60), and I said that's what nudism does for you, when you disrobe, you lose anxiety, tension, and therefore, no worry lines. It's about accepting yourself and others for who you/they are and not what you look like, own, or wear. Cheri

What to take; Clothes to travel in, clothes to come home in....a couple of sarongs/pareo's, sunscreen, sunglasses, sundries and a smile. You are about to experience something that you'll never forget. It's something we've done for over 30 years and wonder why we didn't do it sooner. Go knowing you'll have a great time. When you get back, let us know so we can plan a trip together

Hey- you can take another turn if you want to incorporate everything in everyone else's entries. How's that? When we're done, we'll have the perfect nudist brochure.
This is getting pretty good, too bad there's no real prize!
I've added a suggestion in the first post for lengths of 10 sentences or less.
How about the "always sit on your own towel" rule? We haven't seen anyone include that yet.

Wow! Terrific! Now that's a holiday worth winning -- a whole week to relax and let your skin breathe! For me, a weekend without clothes rejuvenates like a two-week holiday, so you're going to come back feeling refreshed like, well [calculating], like you've been away over six weeks! And packing is stress-free too -- you'll wear your travel clothes so all you need to pack are toiletries, sunblock, sunglasses, sunhat, a good book and a couple towels to sit and lay on. Three tips: 1) take shoes you can play tennis or volleyball in, 2) when you notice that you've forgotten you're not wearing anything, make a mental note about how nice it is to just be, and to be with others as they really are, without worrying about packaging or pretense, and 3) don't forget to recuperate your clothes to wear on the trip back!

This is one that may seem a little tame to the veterans, here, but as an "elevator pitch", I love what I've said a few times, recently. I'm absolutely sure most people, even textiles, roam the house nude "when they get the chance". I get that. Even more people than that probably sleep nude and wake up as such. My "elevator pitch" is this for those who are on the edge even at home:
"Why get dressed to take a shower?"

Given the usual 45 seconds for an elevator pitch, I think the best strategy is to define the message and stay on message.
1. How wonderful! You'll have a great time. 2. Everyone you'll meet had a first time, and have come back because they like... the people. Nudists are the friendliest folks you'll meet, maybe because each is comfortable in their own skin. 3. Do you usually put on a bathing suit to bathe? Neither do nudists. They just figure that bathing and swimming seem pretty much the same, getting wet and all. 4. Besides, it's really hard to get dry wearing wet pants! 5. Our first time, we were just as excited as you guys--and a little bit anxious. Took us about 5 seconds to figure out that everyone else looked like we did. Took us about ten seconds to figure out that when everyone's nude, you take the time to meet people and not just see them! 6. By the end of your trip, you'll be left with only two questions: a. (Why) Do we have to put our clothes on? b. When can we come back?
Have a great trip!

Here's what I'd tell them.
1. "All the guests will be drop-dead gorgeous ... except you." 2. "Everyone's going to point and laugh at you." 3. "You'd be better off letting me go in your place."

There are two key things to understand about nudism;
A: Being naked wherever and whenever possible. B: Accepting others regardless of apearence.
In nudist areas, people will accept you regardless wether you are fat, thin, tall, short, white, black, blue, purple, pink or are an alien from the planet zog! Everyone has the simular interest of relaxing and having a good time socialy through simple things. Just be yourself, be nude and don't worry. Remember to bring things like sun tan lotion and towls to sit on (for hygenic reasons). So just go with the flow, and everyone will be happy. Including you.
We take for granted we know the whole story. We judge a book by it's cover and read what we want, between selected lines!

Did someone say, "Nutshell?" Hey, that's I!
What I would tell them is that.
- It feels divine
- It makes you feel young again
- You get to do in real life what you have dreamt of
- Your laundry labor and cost go way down
- You gain self-confidence and self-acceptance
- You get to hang around nude people
- The people at a nudist resort are very polite
