How would parents talk to their kids about coming nudist? Should parents let their kids run around the house naked or even outside naked so they could get use to being a nudist?

There are already several threads on this topic. 1) The short answer is tell them there are times when you have to wear clothes. There are also times you DON'T. 2) Yes 3) If possible (weather, neighbors etc)
Bob Have a nice NUDE day !!

You said there were several threads on this topic. Where are the threads on this topic? I've looked all over this site for this topic but I haven't found any so where can I find it?

Young children are naturally nudist, it's more like introducing clothing to them than the other way around. If you don't require them to wear clothes they will naturally chose not to.

Stayed with some friends recently who are naturists with young kids. After bemoaning the continuing cold weather, the topic came up about how they explained naturism to their kids. The mom said it was easy -- she just treated clothes as costumes. They have their "school costumes" (day-care is "school" for the young one), "outdoor play costumes" according to the season, "church costumes," etc. They choose what to wear when they go out according to what they'll be doing and then put coats and other clothes neatly back in the closet when they get home. Evidently the kids were glad I was naturist too since they didn't have to change into "visitors costumes" while I was there. Knowing the pattern, I happily just followed the house rules too.

Do parents show their kids nudist brochures so they can show their kids what nudist do and how fun it could be? How long does it take for a first time nudist to adjust to being a nudist?

ace101, Children four and under take about 0 seconds to adjust. Many or most adults become adjusted during their first visit at a clothes free resort.

Does anybody know where to get a nudist brochure? I've been looking around and can't find any. I found one but I'd like to find some more. I'd like to have different ones to show my friends & family.

Call the Naturist Society, they have a good one. AANR has several including "Enjoy Life Naturally" and "From a Woman's Perspective." Teva

TNS's phone # 800/886-7230 & AANR's is 800/TRY-NUDE. You can also email Cheri Alexander at cheridonna@prodigy.net and, she'll send you a reluctant partner brochure in PDF format as well as some of the AANR's brochures. She is a family member and goodgood friend. Teva

Hey my fellow nudist friends! Have you guys ever heard of tmz before? Well at tmz.com they have an article on there talking about a nudist place and the people on there are bashing the nudist place saying that its wrong and its sick and so on. I've been defending the nudist life style by saying good stuff about it. This place on tmz.com sounds like a good place to be first introduced to the nudist style of living. Here is the link go there & see all the bad stuff that is being said & the good stuff I said about the life style of the nudist!
