recently introduced to the idea of nudism only a few months ago by a friend, who after years of knowing admitted that she was one. I thought, at first, that this was weird until one night when we were watching a movie at her place she suggested I spend the night in the nude and see how I liked it. Needless to say I loved it and after about 5 minutes forgot that I was even nude. She is really the only person I know who is a nudist and there is nothing in Chicagoland that I know of relating to nudism. Looking for advice for a fledgling nudist.

Two main things: Don't do anything that requires an apology and always sit on your own towel. Wherever you do go, remember to bring your own sunscreen, towel, beverages, etc.

nudieillinois, There's a few nice places to choose from near the Chicagoland area, one is in Valparaiso, IN and the others are in southern Wisconsin. Also there's the Chicago Sun Club, although I haven't seen any updates on their website in a bit, they were (are?) very active in the area. All in all, you can meet quite a few folks in the area who are like minded about the sun and the air!
