The only difference between nudists and others is after a large meal, nudists have no belt to losen. Each nudist park, resort, club is different from the next and with the change of attendees can change as rapidly as the people. It depends on the week, month, or day of your visits.

Some suggestions: Call the resort and ask if you will be supplied towels on which to sit around the pool. Bare etiquette demands you sit on your own towel. You should bring your own sunscreen since there are parts of you that have not been exposed to the sun previously. Bring a sun hat or cap to protect your faces/head from the sun providing you with some shade.

Bring comfortable shoes such as sandals or flip flops to walk around the resort.

Is the resort clothing optional, nudist, or clothed with a nudist beach? These are all things you need to find out.

Enjoy your trip.

You will find nudism to be so invigorating. Even that last cloth makes a difference.

Oh yes, a towel is much requested at nudist establishments, as Cheri says.

A search on 'fuerteventura monte marina' gave many returns. If you haven't, try the search and then view some of the sites, such as tripadvisor. Apparently, Monte Marina is for naturists, has nude outdoor pool (which may be used by guests at a nearby hotel), a lengthy nude beach and some nearby non-nudist facilities. You might prepare a list of questions and email them. The area was attractive in the photos.

Best Wishes, Jim

thanks very much to you all, as newcomers we are doing this for the right reasons i hope, that is a whole new experience, relxing wise and feeling good about being natural with the elements. is there many people our age that take part in these holidays? were 22 and 28, and does it feel natural to be talking to new people while being natural? sorry if these sound stupid but when it comes to this i suppose we are. and the possiblilty of an unfortunate accident (arousal wise) happens how to deal with it or cover it.

Being natural with the elements is a great feeling! Early morning sunshine or a late afternoon breeze on your body is sensual and calming.

Don't know about age groups. After a short time I believe meeting with other nudists will be easy. Easier in a Clothes Free environment than in a Clothing Optional environment. Ask if this resort is which.

Arousal is normally not the problem many men will think it is. But, carry towel to cover up with or jump in pool or ocean.

Best Wishes, Jim

all the posters have great input on this. It all depends on the person how they ease into naturism/nudism. Do your research and find what you want kind of resort/beach etc that you are looking for. Once you get your clothes off your cares and stress will go as well. Once you have done this you will never go back.

hello! I'm pretty new to all of this myself and I didn't know where to start posting. I've only recently been introduced to nudism by a friend of mine who after years of knowing her finally told me that she was a nudist. At first I thought it was weird and she told me that unless I tried it I would never really know. One day while visiting I decided to try being nude. After about five minutes I forgot that I had no clothes and was never so comfortable in my life. We both enjoy activities in the nude but there isn't much in this area as far as nudism. She has been to several nudist places over the years with a few friends, but I'm not really one who has time to travel. For now I'm just hanging out with her and a couple of her friends and hope I can find something in the Chicagoland area.
