Hey everyone, I know this section is for people that have not gone yet, but I thought I would post a little bit about my FIRST trip...maybe it will answer some questions or quell some worries.
Fist of all, this was the most relaxing thing I have ever done. Being able to walk around an entire resort, inside and out being JUST me was the best. People are seeing YOU, not what clothes you can or can't afford.
Second, everyone is the same. The only difference is age, and even that is blurred when everyone is just being them self. Even the older crowd are obviously still kids at heart. It was nice to see that grand-parents would bring their grand-children and spend time with them at the resort. It's a bonding experience to be sure, but it's also a sign of community.
I can not wait to go back! My first visit was to Turtle Lake Resort... in western Michigan, I think it was in Union City... or just outside, don't remember. What a great place... amazing facility's, courteous staff, and the friendliest or fellow nudists.
I went with my best friend Dave for my first trip. This was his second. I am of the opinion that I have to try everything once before I die, and if I don't like something, OH WELL! At least I know it. And I have to tell you, this was something that I will never forget.
If I had to complain about anything, it would be that me and my friend stuck out like sore thumbs being that we were both 25. We met a women 26.. the rest were either much younger or older.
We did go on a Monday/Tuesday and I would suppose thats why, but it was still a fun time.
We are trying to go to the mid-west AANR conf. next week. We are also trying to get some of our friends to go... a little bit of a more male/female mix for our group may make it that more enjoyable...
I think the 2 of us guys gave people the wrong impression.
ANWAY. 5 Stars out of 5!

FYI- there is a "first time" thread. Glad you had a good time. Usually you will find more young people on the weekends. During the week you will find more retirees etc. Most places are much less crowded, which can be an advantage for your first experience.
