Since my last post, the place in Palm Springs closed down to nude use. Thankfully the Prof has decided we need to travel more in the motorhome so we'll be searching nudist opportunities in other areas and states. Looking forward to getting out on the road more!

FireProf, sounds like you have a good back up plan! It will be interesting to hear about the places you travel to. Keep us posted for some of the good spots you find. We are going to be traveling to the 'lower 48' this coming spring. It would be nice to hear about places that one might be able to spend a couple days at. Not sure if I could get the wife to agree to stop, but it is always worth a try.

One of the nicest places we've stayed is Laguna Del Sol, in Wilton, CA. It's south/east of Sacramento about 30-35 mins. It's certainly off the beaten path but it's a really nice resort. It's where we take our motorhome for a week at least twice a year.
I think you could convince your wife to visit if you're in an RV of any kind or even tent camping. If she's concerned about all the people, get a spot on the other side of the lake. There are spots for tent camping, RV spots with water and electrical and not many people camp over there unless it's a really busy weekend. You should be close to the only ones over there Monday thru Thursday.
Downside; port a potties are closest to the RV sites but the indoor pool/hot tub and restrooms are actually close by. The Prof will don a cover up to walk around the resort, sometimes. Many of the women do. It would be a way for her to just see what really goes on.
The restaurant is great and the people, so far, have been friendly. We always seem to find a couple that is nice to talk to the day before we leave!
We're looking at Nor Cal (Napa/Sonoma), maybe Oregon/Washington, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and Utah. If all goes well, I'd like to visit Wyoming and Montana. Not sure we'll find many nudist place in Utah, Wyoming and Montana but we'll make our own nude places when we explore! hahaha

Hey Fire, good advice! Maybe AK can win her over! That's great getting your personal experience input.
It's funny... since I have been interested in nudism for a long time, I've heard of just about every resort/club in CA. For some reason they just got mentioned a lot in magazines, or whatever, no matter where they were or the size of them. There are several nice resorts around TX, but it seems like none are known 50 miles away.

Speedy,
We are quite lucky, the Prof and I. We have several clubs, beaches and resorts nearby. The furthest local club is about 2 hrs away. Our home club, Glen Eden Sun Club is about 30 mins away. Black's Beach, San Diego, San Onofre, Trail 6 both about an hour away. DeAnza Springs Resort, 2 hrs away in Jacumba, CA (45 mins east of San Diego). Palms Springs; 1 hr 15 mins away; - - - Resort and now Tuscany Manor. There are a couple others close by but they've been taken over by swingers and we will not go there!
One of our road trips will entail us visiting a few nude beaches up the coast; Bates Beach, Bonny Doon Beach, Baker Beach and some others after I research updated info.

Mostly Turtle Lake in Michigan. when in Florida we go to Cypress Cove. When we are visiting other states the closest resort to our destination that we can be completely naked for as many days as possible after visiting many sites.

Laguna Del Sol is a pretty fair place to be at this time of the year. The indoor swimming pool and hot tub are nice, and the winter cold is outside, not indoors, naturally.
As sensitive as I am about temperatures, I wouldn't mind the pool being a tad warmer, but you get used to the temperature after a short while. They have swimming pool volleyball there on Saturdays which is fun to participate in.
If you want the place to yourself, or close to it, weekdays are the time to go. In the summer everyone is at the outdoor pools, leaving the indoor pool nice and quiet.
