Just bought a trimmer for my neck & chest and I will use it for the pubes albeit they are short anyway. If I get brave I may try the epilator on the nads but I'll have to let the hair grow. I'll report back if I get brave enough, its not a region to get too gung-ho about I feel when use electrical equipment.
I have been shaving the sack & shaft every few days and believe me you are careful when working in this area (its not a shave to rush). You get better at it very quickly but the risk is a concern and the slightest cut or nick bleeds incredibly. I guess that's the price to pay for a certain look but hey we wouldn't do it if we did not like it and it wasn't appreciated by others.

Working on the smoothie but have some problems. Wife says it is rough on her after a day. Does anyone else have the same problem?
I've read about the use of an epilator an the longer time between usage and somewhat eliminating the hair in time. I looked for one and saw many kinds of mens grooming shavers and epilators for wemon. What am I looking for and suggestions of where to find it. What I have cseen looks to big for the pube area.

I've always kept my nut-sac shaved and the pubs trimmed. About 3 months ago I decided to go fully smooth, I love the look and feel. I use a MAC3 triple blaze razor for my shaving. I just keep it in the shower, every other day when I'm showering, I just lather the "goods" with soap and shave away, never have any razor stubble, and it leaves the entire area very smooth. Just make sure you change the blades ever so often (found out the hard way, a dull razor makes for a bad shave)...after my shave and shower, i put some baby powder on the pubic area and nads, never have any problems...great look and feels GREAT!!!!

Nor hairy neither saved.I just trim my pubic area because i don't like the bush look.I tried saving but i cut myself and never tried it since.Plus it looks better with a little hair than bold

 I have went smooth a few years ago, I don't have a lot of body hair; though I find I sweat less and don't have the BO like I use to have when I had body hair. I find that it is each person's opinion about being hairy or smooth, but as for me I prefer being smooth...

Are you serious about the epilator? I tried this and the loose skin of my scrotum kept getting caught. After the third "catch" causing the machine to jamb I stopped and thought either this is a sick joke and I was stupid to try this or I am doing something very wrong. I have some skin off and some small nicks and a very sensitive scrotum. It hurt.
Some of you may have tears of laughter from my stupidity but I had an eye-watering experience from a whole different perspective. Was this a set up?

I'm right handed, I pull the skin taught with my left hand and hold the epilator in my right. Some parts ARE better suited to shaving.

I've tried the epilator before and in the instructions it stated that the skin should be pulled to make it somewhat..."tight" to alleviate the skin from being caught in the epilator.
It was a bit painful so I just went back to shaving and do it every couple of days in the shower.....no nicks, no cuts, no problems...

I have a hard enough time remembering to cut my fingernails, so I'd have a harder time trying to remember shaving my pubic hair. I can get away with the latter in everyday business.
So, I'll pass on having to take on more beautifying of myself. That would be a hopeless task, not that I'm handsome or anything. Besides, if I wanted to shave myself correctly, I'd have to ask a barber, and then life would be profoundly more difficult for me.

Thanks for the advice about keeping the skin tight. I'm not sure I am ready to try this again just yet, it may take time to forget, a bit like women and child birth.
