I don't have any tats, but I've had 2 rings in my scrotum for almost 20 years. And I just had my nipples pierced. And my age is 78.

Being part of this younger generation that you speak of, I can honestly say that I'm an exception to the whole tatoo and piercing craze. I personally don't see the point of any of it. One maybe two small tatoos on someone, okay fine, not my cup of tea; but those people who tatoo whole arms, legs, and or other parts of their bodies? That's just horrible to see, I think. Same goes for piercings in my book, except for like pierced ears. I would never hold piercings or tatoos against someone or judge them based on that, but tatoos and piercings are not cool in my book.

Good for you Charles. I got my nipples pierced in my early 50s and over the years I've stretched them out to a pair of size 0 rings. I love the constant titillation as I walk naked, and they look so large and manly.
I don't have any tats. Just never found a picture or design I wanted to add to my natural beauty. I do sometimes wear a large non-pierced genitals ring.

As a fairly liberal nudist mom of three now "adult" daughters (at least over 18 anyway)I have no problem with tattoos or piercings. I do not have any tats but my nipples are pierced. Two of my girls also have nipple piercings. My youngest wanted a tattoo all through high school. And when she turned 18 it was right to the Tattoo Parlor. I warned her "this is something that will always be there...Keep in mind something you might think is cool now, you might not think so when you are 40" She got a small design on her left "cheek". Not so bad.

My problem with tattoos is that once you have one, you can never be truly "naked" again ;-).

I agree with the henna idea. Especially since it is probably very painful. I would probably prefer a piercing since you can always remove it and it is not permanent. What if you change your mind on a tatoo?
