So just curious as to what kind of pubic hair styles you all have out there? I have a landing strip above my penis

I went bald for a year and then went back to full. This summer I'm thinking of trying just slightly trimmed.

I like the look and feel of being totally smooth but don't like taking the time and effort to keeping it that way. I'm too much a wimp to try an epilator...I hate pain. So, right now it is growing back and I will keep it trimmed short. I will probably go completely smooth again the first trip to CO beach in June.

Hi:
Generally Mrs. Cookie and I have a "full bush" during the winter, since we both like to either bleach or dye our bush a certain shade.
Right now Mrs. Cookie is a bright red to for Valentines Day. She will be going back to her "black mode" since it is so contrasting with her long platnium hair.
During the weekend and the snow we had and could not go anywhere. Mrs. Cookie shaved me smooooooooooooooooooooooooooth!!! Boy what a diff. feeling.
Just remember, we are here for only a short time, so let's have a good time.

I trim my pubic area with a 1 setting on the clippers, and I completely shave my genitals. I once trimmed the pubic area all the way down, but having a hairy chest & stomach, it just didn't look right.

In Oz there are a lot of opinions on this (especially amongst the "non-Naturists"!). The Wife and I swapped all our body hair for an all over tan years ago and neither of us would return to the "Hairy Era". Of late a lot of Aussie Naturists seem to be favouoring the completely naked look - and for us it's far more comfortable.
HOWEVER: Like all things it is a personal matter and if you want to let it grow, that's your choice. Also, it seems that populations in certain Countries are traditionally hairy (Germans come to mind), whilst others (French, Dutch, Scandinavians) seem to prefer complete nudity.
Apart from the de-whiskering hassle, we both find that swimming in particular is much, much nicer sans pubic hair, and getting dry afterwards is certainly faster. Perspiration's not that much of a problem either, as you'd expect!

Shaved smooth for awhile and it was cool. Winter came and am letting it grow out. From you old hands, how long will it take to really grow in thick? Has anyone found a good place to see different shapes? Would like to try before deciding on the summer look.

I've been a smoothie for more than ten years. For me, it's not a "style". It's a total concession to my laziness.
I am one of those girls with strange hair patterns. It grows just fine on my head, thank you very much. It grows very lightly "almost" everywhere else. When I tried to be a teen-aged hippie in the 60's and let the hair grow on my legs and underarms, it took forever to grow a barely noticeable fuzz. I have very little body hair. Ah, but in my pubic region I am a hairy beast.
Left to it's own, my "dark and curlies" would grow from pubic bone to pubic bone and basically cover my lower abdomen. If it weren't for the fact that my buns are hairless I could have gone bottomless and people would have thought I was wearing "Alley Oop's" fur shorts. I actually had one boyfriend express shock when he unbuttoned my jeans for the first time. It was at that point I decided to start trimming.
I hated having to constantly trim the front and shave the top and sides to maintain a nice, neat little "V" that wouldn't show around my knickers or swimsuits. On one brilliant day I just shaved it all off. I wasn't even aware that it was a style or that there were people called smoothies. I just got tired of all the work.
I soon discovered that a quick lather up and shave every morning in the shower was all that was needed to keep it smooth. Oh, and the razor bumps I used to get from weekly trimming disappeared entirely with daily shaving. My skin is truly smooth to the touch and without any "5-o'clock shadow".
At the time I first shaved I had just started working as a life model, and was the only "smoothie" at any of the places I posed. I imagine that's changed by now. I'm such a trend-setter ya know.
Anyway, as far as I'm concerned, it's a win-win. There is now no evidence that I have the hips of a gorilla.

I don't have a pubic hairstyle. I'm completely smooth including arms, legs, and pits. It's the only way to go! For me, of course.

How times have changed. In the 60's and 70's with those pubic qualifications you would have been greatly admired (read object of male lust) on a nude beach. Even now there are many people who prefer a natural looking woman to the bare version in vogue today.
We were in the Caribbean at Club Orient on one occasion when a pale, freckled red-headed woman in her thirties, apparently a day tripper from a cruise ship, took off her sun dress to reveal one of the greatest titian red masses of hair I've ever seen. She had a great number of admirers that day, although I may have viewed her female form more than my wife would have liked.
It's amazing how chilly it can get on the island of St. Martin when a wife is displeased with her husband's roving eyes.

In my younger days I shaved, but as I have gotten older more hair has gone south to my chest, stomach and upper legs. So where do you stop shaving. I would have one area smooth and the rest with a lot of hair, so I just let it grow but keep it trimed short. The wife likes it smooth and I enjoy doing that for her. Do most you ladies shave your own, or have hubby do it for you?
