if a person listens Ron Paul he is only preaching the law of the land the Constitution but most people including our elected officials from dog catch to the president don't seem to believe in this important document. in fact if you watched his interview prior to Superbowl Sunday he made the statement that if it wasn't for our founding fathers and the Constitution he would be able to get more of his agenda done - scary isn't it ! most say it's outdated, i disagree i think the founding father were very intelligent too craft a document that still is relevant 200 + years later

Bob is the man!! You're correct. If we don't have laws to restrain gov't, we'll soon lose all our freedoms, including the ability to go nude.

What would Thos. Jefferson say about all this?

warmskin Jefferson would be grabbing his musket and calling for volunteers,we have lost most of our freedom already. it wasn't long ago china was warning the America was becoming to socialist, gee this warning coming from a communist nation, sadly we are beyond socialism and headed toward communism. the government from local to federal is suppose to work for us - the taxpayer but somewhere the politicians got confused - yes it was the koolaid and now we are their servants.

Unfortunately, obamacare has been falsely labelled constitutional by the supreme court allowing the socialists to control how we pay for our healthcare and the healthcare of illegal immigrants (so they will vote for Obama). This is not freedom.nobody should be guaranteed jobs or healthcare. When the pilgrims came to America, the natives weren't hiring. Take care of yourself. If a man doesn't work, neither shall he eat

Tell that to the working stiffs on minimum wage with no benefits. Tell that to the disabled veterans who got their brains scrambled in Iraq. Tell that to the millions who lost their jobs and health insurance when the financial wizards blew up the economy.

And, being such rugged individualists, be sure to tear up your socialist Medicare cards. After all, surely you can provide for yourself.

I dunno, FP. Every time I get suckered into one of these political 'discussions', I end up regretting it.

Obama is an excellent president. He is definitely the more nude friendly in my opinion. Since healthcare was brought into this discussion everybody should have the same health care as the members of congresss. This is afterall a civilized nation, isn't it?
Hummm. I hope we do.

blavan you really don't believe your going to get the same healthcare plan as the president or congress do you ? sorry for anyone who thinks obama would have no problem with nudist look again at how you have been losing more and more of your rights with intrusive laws with the left wing socialist agenda. And don't get me wrong the right wing isn't much better, what we need in this country is a third party called libertarians but most people would never vote for them because they don't believe in all these entitlements and freebees that were never guaranteed you in the Constitution and who would ever give up all these hand me outs, well i would !

Shy as I am to discuss political matters, my thinking is that Obama's wars are taking money away from people who can least afford it. Also, such things as the Libya war make it harder for folks to afford health insurance.

One practical consideration, regardless of political party one supports(or which NFL team one supports)is this: With a fixed amount of doctors, and with 40 million new patients coming on board, how will doctors be able to effectively attend to the needs of everyone? Who will eventually be denied health care,as simple math would indicate must be the case. Will it be the elderly who must move over and make way for younger folks? Doctors will simply not be able to give quality care for eveyone, until the doctors' numbers grow dramatically.

I worry that we might become like Nazi Germany where only the "best" will be allowed to survive, while the "lesser people" will be denied the means to survive, because they are least productive folks, or mere "feeders." How else can doctors give care for everyone in the nation, without reducing their income or time spent with each patient?

I'm not telling the 40 million, "tough luck", but there has to be a better way to solve all this. Community work to earn health insurance, for those who cannot affored insurance, is one way. The nation is bankrupt and must print money, borrow money overseas, or tax citizens to pay for all of this. If you taxed rich people 100%, it would not fix the problem. That is the quandry regardless of party you belong to. Our grandchildern are going to get a raw deal. How about pro-bono work from doctors? Dr. Ron Paul once worked for $3 an hour at a Catholic hospital. I guess that hospital served poor people.

As to the best pro-nudist president (which is what I should have been discussing <duh!! [:o) ] >, what statements on this have Romney or OBama enunciated about nudism?

None. So, how can we predict what they would do about nudism?

Nudism needs a nation that puts freedom first. The only man I know who does that is Ron Paul. He states the liberty message without regard who attacks him. That cannot be said about be the other candidates. The freedom message supports unusual ways of living. The other candidates support conformity, which is hard on the nudism movement.

Freedom-first wins the day for the nudist movement.

Regardless who wins in November, neither President Obama, nor Governor Romney will advocate any pro-nudism policies during the next four years. The Faux Noise, Limbaugh crowd would have a field day. I would be more concerned with the so-called "family" groups and bible thumper advocates, who could mount an anti-nudity campaign. Romney has already shown that when these groups yell "jump", he says "how high"? On a local basis, these groups already go after adult entertainment with new laws, that usually also prohibit all nudity. These are the same groups that are still arguing over Janet Jackson's Wardrobe Malfunction.

what amazes me is san francisco where you can walk down the street nude 24 hours a day but can't buy a happy meal , i don't think our founding fathers could ever imagine government weather local, state or federal growing to the degree it has, than you have some communities with homeowner associations where you have another group of idiots wanting to rule your life. i again wonder where it will end, probably when they install government cameras in your home, heck they are around the corner from where i live posted at a intersection.

My vote goes to Ron Paul, since he is a Dr. and all, and he makes more sense than any of the other of the choices.
