We've always been "campers." We love the outdoors, hiking, cooking outside, campfires, ... It's just been within the last several years that our bodies have begun to scream at us for subjecting it to hard surfaces when sleeping, porta potties, and sometimes ... no showers. So ... a travel trailer or motorhome was the obvious fix for these somewhat soft bods.
We would not have bought a motorhome because we won't use it enough throughout the year. If we go 6-7 times a year, that means it sits in storage for anywhere from 8-9 months. We are limited as to how long we can go, currently, and since our daughter and her family are co-owners ... the motorhome then becomes worth having since it goes out a dozen times or more annually. It's going out this weekend with them!
I don't think we could do "full time" motorhoming. We like being close to our girls and grandkids, like spending lots of time with them, attending all their games and school functions. If we are not there ... it upsets them. So ... we'll have to wait til they are all older and can cut the strings themselves before we can make that kinda move.
For now ... this motorhome works for us and it's a blast to drive naked!

We toured The Woods, while in Land O Lakes visiting another nudist resort. Very nice motor home resort. Paved streets and sites. It's an ownership type resort, but rentals are available. Nice club house with a bar, pool, and I think, a hot tub. We've been motor homing for several years now and are about to make the move to full timing too. Our house has been sold, so on the 17th we'll be houseless. Our home will be where ever we park it.

The resort (in Land O Lakes) ... you'll have to check their website and see if it fits your wants and needs.
Cypress Cove ... it's one of the nicest club/resorts we've been to and would return in a heart beat. All paved roads, lots of accomodation choices, nice restaurant, lots and lots to do, great pool bar and grill ... can't say enough good things about CC.

We were probably spoiled by Club Orient where nudity in the restaurant is common at dinner and for the entertainment after. Cypress Cove advertises Thursday "nude night" and offers a free glass of wine for nude diners. This makes me wonder if nudity at dinner is uncommon there. What was your experience?

Now when I pass one I wonder if they are naked in there. LOL
If anyone is thinking about buying their first Motor Home, I strongly advise renting one for a few days and find out all you can about it. We bought a classic Kent Cortez MH, and spent $20K fixing it ! The owner parked it in Mammoth Mountain, and froze all the pipes and we had to replumb it plus many other problems. WE really loved this classic and took it cross country from Laguna Beach, California, to Washington, D.C. and back. Great adventure.

We weren't there for dinner but have friends that have stayed for dinner and have stated that, for whatever reason, some nudists dress for dinner. I still scratch my head at that one. But I've seen this many a time. I think it's ingrained that one must/should be covered below the waist when eating food and I just don't get that way of thinking for nudists at a nude resort.
What needs to be done is for "nudists" to take advantage of the policy that nudity is accepted and encouraged everywhere in and on the property and practice it. I think when that happens, more and more people will follow suit and the atmosphere could change and the restaurant will see more nude diners than clothed. We've had countless meals at Papagayo and The Perch, at Club Orient, in the nude. What I found interesting our last visit to Club O was that the manager and his wife were "completely" dressed for dinner at Papagayo ... every night! Just doesn't make much sense for a nudist to get dressed just to have a meal. We had a meal at a resort in FL where we were the ONLY ones naked at breakfast and it was already 90 degrees outside at 8 am. When we sat down and looked around and saw several other couples seated and dressed, I asked the female server ... "are we suppose to be dressed in this area?" She replied ... "absolutely not! You both are appropriately attired, I don't know what's wrong with them." My wife and I both had on sarongs and took them off and placed them on the chairs before we sat down. Later found out that a large group of swingers had partially taken over the resort for the NYE party a couple nights before our arrival.
Back on topic; ...
Since my last post, we've taken over the motorhome ownership 100%. Too long a story but seems my wife is wanting to get out in it and go places. We will compromise and stay at nude places and textile places ... just so we are not pigeon holed into certain areas of the region we are visiting. Besides ... if you do it right and are creative enough, you CAN still be naked, even if just a little, on your campsite. We've done it at our private RV club we took over from my dad. We just find out of the way spots and position the car/truck and an EZ UP with side walls so we can enjoy some outdoor nude time for a short while and then there is ALWAYS nudity inside the coach.
Our current motorhome could function as a "full time" home. It's nice ... but too small. For us, a full time coach would have to have at least two slide outs(preferably 3), ours only has one, and I'd like a longer coach with maybe a second bathroom. But we are pretty close to our daughters and grandkids and spend lots of time with them so full time motorhoming is not really feasible for us, currently, and by the time it is ... we may be looking for something else to do, like living on board a boat.
