Sometimes you have to go in stages, depending on how hairy you are. Sissors or clippers to get the majority of the hair, but be careful. A lady's razor is best for cutting down close to the skin. Lady's razors or best because they are made for our smooth delicate skin. Once you have it the way you want it, its easier to keep that way, because the hair grows back softer.

I went shopping today, but totally forgot about the hair removal foam. I'll have to go back to tomorrow to see if they sell it. I'm keen to give it a go but a little worried about how it actually works.

I am told it is helpful to put body oil on after shaving. I am off soon to get some lady's razors and oil.

After shaving, the oil can clog the pores. You'd be better to put some alcohol based product, cologne, on it to close the pores, or even Witch Hazel.

Thanks Cheri! I certainly wouldn't want my pores to get clogged. Would the cologne sting though? And who is Witch Hazel?!!!!

NudeDiver, You can find Witch Hazel (one of the good witches LOL) at your local Eckerd's, CVS, Walgreen, etc. pharmacy in the same aisle where the alcohol or hydrogen peroxide is. The alcohol will sting a little the first few times, but a LOT less than if you used wax on the hair.

I am totally hair free in the pubic area. although you have to be very careful where you shave as this can be very irritating.
Women,
what is your hairstyle for underarms? shaved unshaved or trimmed.

I shave under arms as well. I figure body hair is body hair. It also looks better when I raise my arms when working out at gym. It is cclean and neat.

I am a guy and I shave my chest, underarms, legs, and pubic area. The only hair I let grow is my eyebrows and I keep them trimed.

as for how I shave, I have tried, waxing, nair and nair bikini, electric razor but still prefer good old shaving cream and a razor. I use the old fashioned shaving soap and apply it with a shaving brush. I use the mach 3 razor but aaw an ad the other day about a new razor with 4 blades. anyone tried it yet?

I shave my underarms, which I've been doing since I started growing hair there. I also use my Mach3 on my legs and bikini-line. A few days ago I tried trimming my pubic area but the verdict is still out on whether or not I like it that way.

I trim my pubic hard but leave everything else au natural... I couldn't imagine the amount of time it'd take to shave off everything else.

I remember growing up anxiously waiting for hair to grow in my armpits and pubic area. Now I wish I was hairless from the ears down. I've been 'blessed' with lots of body hair and it's just too much work to keep it off. Interestingly enough, I now shave my armpits and pubic area. I've found that the less hair I have there, the less odor I experience.
I spent lots of time at the gym last year, and I don't recall even one goofy look. In fact, I had convinced a friend to shave as well. Once I'm more established financially I'm going to have my back hair permanently removed as well as some in my pubic area. I only wish that there were more shavers that played hockey...
