Mine is an unusual problem. As I got older, the hair on my head got darker. What was once a bright orange/red hair is now nearly black unless in bright sunlight then some of the redness shows through. Problem is my pubic hair stayed the same color. Actually had a lady at a nudist campground tell me I never should have dyed the hair on my head that the natural color <she looking at my pubes> is a much better color. Had a hard time convincing her I never dyed any hair on my body. Think I'll go for the trimmed but not shaved. Too much time in the bathroom for this guy.

I agree with you sailordave, shaving the pubes is sometimes a tedious and time consuming procedure.

Agreed, shaving can be tedious, especially for men in those hard to reach places. I swear it's like being a contortionist sometimes to be a 'real' smoothie!...Still the 'Magic' depilatory works best for me.

Could be worse problems. My mom's cousin's kids went bald at 30, and my ex-wife's cousin went from brown to white at 20. Not even gray to silver to white, just straight to white.

I haven't read all the messages in the thread, but I think whatever you do to your pubic hair should be fine. I mean don't naturists on the beaches use body paints and stuff? Why should styling, coloring orshaving pubic hair be any different than that as far as acceptibility is concerned?

I myself shave mine into a small heart shape just above my vagina, and shave the rest. I trim the heart shape very short too, but being blonde it';s not easy to see right away anyway.

Welcome SkinnyBlondeGirl from another newbie to this site. As a 'smoothie' myself, I find it attractive when people take the time trimming their pubic hair into a design. A heart is a great choice! That you are blonde and it isn't easily distinguishable kinda' makes you a smoothie in my books!

I tried shaving in shape of a trapezoid, but had trouble keeping two sides parallel, so went with the much easier quadrilateral style.

Seriously, I shave daily, but it's strictly beard trimming. I appreciate most the traditional triangle look on women.

I'm a shaver, that is completly smooth pubes.

I also know and have seen many women who leave the "landing" strips, but shaving hearts, etc is rare.

As a matter of fact many of us, including me, have a light or sparse pubic bush, which prevents any artistic design to be seen or recognizable.

A blonde heart sounds perfect, my girlfriend shaves all her pubic hair which I like too.

I just trim mine short but my girlfriend likes me to remove all the hair from my penis and scrotum, you can't beleive how smooth it can be, its just vey uncomfortable when it grows back, prickly.

There was an article in one of the men's magazines once about all the different pubic hair styles, women of course. You can make just about any design, crosses, hearts, smilly faces, the list is endless.

to all the newbies who havent read the thread all the way through, however you decide to trim, shave, or do nothing is fine with most of us. just an individual taste and expression, which is cool.

Marco,

If you continue to shave the itching will eventually disappear.

Chic is right Marco, you just have to keep it shaved so it won't itch.
