Deep Creek Hot Spings is a lovely place to take it off and enjoy the 3 different natural granite pools of hot water. You will have get precised directions to get to the public lands ranch to park your car north of Devore or East of Victorville. After driving as far as you can (elev 4,000) you hike down to the hot springs which is next to the riverbed that is on the backside of Arrowhead Mtns. The hike is about 45 minutes, very pretty and is all downhill. That means eek, its all uphill when coming back. plenty of places for privacy or mixing with all the locals or tourists. The hike seems to keep the age of the crowd generally around 16-38. Rangers do appear at sundown since they dont want people trying to camp there. There was a fire that started there several years back. plenty of area to hike around nude and just quite enjoyable.

The easiest way to find what's close to you is go to www.nudistparksusa.net and insert your zip code. BTW, welcome to these message boards/forums. Cheri

Deep Creek hotsprings is definitly a must see and experience. It is my home away from home when travelling to California. Check out www.soak.net for other links to sites and forums.

I take it you all "pack lite" and dont mind the pain in the butt hike to get down to Deep Creek. Our family likes to carry a whole bunc of crap { blankets, towels, sooler, portable bbq) so we dont go to Deep Creek all that much. Only about once a year. we prefer to go to San Onofre Beach. But most weekends we are at our local nudist club anyway.

Finally managed to get to the Deep Creek Springs last year. Well worth the long drive and the even almost as long hike!! Arrive early in the day before it gets too hot, take sun block, water, hat etc. If you are not fit, do not attempt it, the going down is OK, its the leaving for home after sitting in hot water that is difficult, particularly the uphill hike. having said all that, I loved it, the bottom of the canyon river and springs are very picturesque, lots of privacy if needed and very nice people. Different crowd at night though so leave before sundown to avoid rowdy drinking lot ( unless you dig that of course!!). BTW, the drive from the highway is convoluted and further than you first think. Use the springs website for help. Enjoy
