I hate to correct people. I don't want to look like a jerk. Maybe that's why my wife got sick of me.  I know it used to piss her off. I just couldn't resist. I'll leave looking at my bowel to my proctologist. He gets handsomely paid for the honor.  LOL.

I live with my fiance and to us the toilet seat is not an issue....it's just as easy to put it down as it is to put it up (actually easier thanks to our buddy gravity) Personally....I never walk into the bathroom and blindly throw my butt down. I've learned to look first then sit..once you can master that...the toilet seat is a not an issue

In the bath room at the base is a sign put up by one of the female medics, it is a picture of a duck, stuck down in the bowl, and the caption reads " if I was ment to have a wet butt, I would have been born with web feet, please put the seat down when you are done" after looking at the bowl and then the girls , none of them have a thing to worry about. no way would any of them would fit!

Think I'll throw in my 2 cents here.
My uncle does all his 1's and 2's setting down. I can aim good but I also wipe the rim EVERY time incase it is there and I can't see it. PS That was a good one Willy.

My mother, a nurse, raised 3 sons and 1 daughter. She taught each of us to put the seat and lid down, always. Sometimes she put a cover on the lid to match the rug in fron of the toilet. Then you had to hold the lid and seat up or they would fall because the cover was too thick for the lid to stay up. My first nephew had just gotten potty trained and could just get over the top of the bowl. He didn't know to hold the lid/seat up and they fell on his penis with a bang. Fortunately they didn't have to retrain him after the scare.
