I was reading in my local paper yesterday that patrons of a bar are not allowed to sing in the nude, because the town feels "it would cross the line into adult entertainment." The owner of the bar has sued the town, and right now people are singing in pajamas and underwear while the judge makes a decision. Any thoughts on this?

Whispering Pines has karaoke every Sat. night during the warmer seasons. I believe - - has it as well (at least they used to have it).
The town may just, if it's voted down, precluded itself from being a nude town.

I thought I read yesterday or the day before that the nude karaoke was going forward. In fact, that they had auditions in underwear. I even remember one guy from the article saying he chickened out...not because he had to be nude, but because he couldn't sing very well.

if yu cany sing, being nude isnt going to be any help. just have to watch not to spill those drinks that are sticky or that youcan light on fire

Like anything else we do at a nudist resort, we usually are paying attention to the person/person's activity, as in this case their voice, some of you singing nudists are quite good, instead of noticing that the person's nude.
We have been to karaoke a couple of nights while staying at Club Orient and I just spent the day at Shangri La Ranch in Arizona last week and listened to club members sing a few days after new years. Everytime we've watched karaoke it's been fun. I can get up on stage naked anytime just not sure about singing!

anything nude is a good thing, even karaoke, i would never do it, just because i would want to keep my friends, if they heard me sing ( if ya wanna call it that..lol ) i would no doubt clear a room, needs more then a bucket to hold a note, mind ya i might be able to hold a note in my truck.lol
individauls must be before they can do,they can do to the extent that they are,what they are depends on what they think,what you think,you have,what you have you believe,.

Social responsibility dictates that I don't sing karaoke in the nude OR clothed. My singing leaves much to be desired and I'm quite sure the world is closer to living in harmony WITHOUT me singing.

Best thing for you and me is to group up with a couple of good singers and lipsync our way through the song. This way we can participate and not get the dogs a howlin'
