I might raise some hackles here but I've seen so many thong swimwear, for men and women, for sale on E-bay and other web sites to wonder where are people wearing them? Are they becoming popular at textile beaches or are they just worn in the backyard pool? Personally if I had to be at a beach were I had to wear something it would be a thong.

I wouldn't have any idea whizzo, it has been so long since I have worn a bathing suit.

Whizzo you will probably see them at most of the popular beaches, see pictures of them all the time on the net, so they must be popular.

I've seen women wear them at c/o beaches but haven't seen many men wearing them. Happiness is no bathiing suit at the beach.

I've read some people say that thongs as underwear are more comfortable than any other kind. It seems hard to believe when you see what people look like wearing them, but I've never tried it myself. Maybe it's true.

I know thong underwear is very popular with young women (girls). I see them poking out of those bearly fitting jeans at the the high school, and I have to tell them "You've got a liitle to much dental floss showing" then they would get miffed that an adult would dare say anything about it. Living in the textile world I like wearing thongs. After the initial feels funny sensation they are quite comfortable, but not all of them. I've worn them for twenty odd years now and they appeal to my minimalist idea of as little clothing as possible. We are planning a trip to Hawaii or California this summer and for textile beaches I was wondering if it would fly, probably would raise less eyebrows going nude.

I agree whizzo. I know I would get a lot less stares running around nude then in a thong

It's not very flattering to them when it shows above the top of their jeans, either. Kinda like "Plumbers pants."

Ya know, with all the kids wearing clothes that makes their underwear show, I always remember the popularity of Wedgies when I was growing up. If we just institutionalized that old form of underwear visibility control I think the whole underwear showing phenomenon would end

the girls aren't too bad with the droopy drawers, they try however to go higher in exposing the midriff. The boys on the other hand try to see how far they can get their pants down without losing them. It's a constant battle to maintain a dress code. Parents are rather unconcerned about it, but mention nudity they go ballistic, go figure.
