But as Kim said, with this more openness to nudty on campus, why no faster growing trend to general nudity?

calmnude true, but we unfortunately need rules. Just image if there were no rules or parameters for this forum. It would not be as effective and informative.
I remember being in college and that was part of the game to beat the system or beat the rules. It all changed when I entered the "real world." lol

Thats true too, and also a lot of clubs exclude single males. I know Wreck beach is crowded on the weekends, and I have had people tell me other clothing optional beaches are crowded too, so maybe there is a trend.

I graduated from college in 2003, and I actually noticed very little nudity - in fact only one time when I was a freshman. Also, if there was a nude college, where do you think it should located? I would think it would have to be somewhere that is warm all the time, and if not, it would have to have some kind of way to get from building to building without having to go outdoors when it's cold.

Phoenix College was actually originally built with underground tunnels to each area of the school to so you could walk to all your classes without waking in all the sun. I think they closed them down in the 70s sometime :( Dont know why alot of Universities in cold locations dont do that :D

When I was in college in the late 60's and early 70's casual nudity was no big deal. It was not unusual to walk into the showers and find a mixed group showering. If you needed to change your clothes and there were people in your room, you changed. We had regular nude swims in the college pool in the evenings. That was my first exposure (so to speak) with social nudism and it is why, 38 years later, I am still active. By the way, for anyone interested in Nude U (a part of the AANR youth camp experience) contact Steve Vickers at the AANR office. (1-800-TRY-NUDE)

There wasnt much nudity at my college - well until nite time when people got wrecked and the streakin started, but this wasnt that often. But i spent the year backpacking across latin america and australia and i suppose it must be the type of people that backpack but there was no hang ups about nudity - everyone shared the showers and got changed in front of everyone else in the dorms. (It was different case if it was mixed dorms for obvious reasons).

Spadoc that is the way my dorm wass. You would see mixed groups shoering together, or changing in front of people in your room. No one ever thought much about it, guess it was because it was a relaxed atmosphere, and we were away from home.

A nude college would be an interesting idea. It would have to be located in a warm climate, and the students and faculty would have to be established members of a nudist organization already or it would just attract people at their sexual peak who would probably be thinking of nothing else. Young people who have been raised in that environment would probably excell because of their comfort as well as eliminating a lot of the peer pressures based on styles, etc.

Sounds like a great idea, and you are right that nudists would probably do better in that environment, but you would have a problem with discrimination if you didn't admit non nudists.

So maybe not a "Nude" college but a Clothing Optional one.
I remember years ago, the "Naked Guy" was wandering around Berkley. The city council shut that down but until then, there was nothing that could be done about him. Got to give him a lot of credit in many ways.

Its six one way and half a dozen the other bornnude. If you make the college c/o, then that might be inviting gawkers. It would have to be a private college and not accept any government funds to be a truly nude college. If a religeous affiliated institution can make chapel mandatory, then probably a college designed to promote naturism could make nudism mandatory.
