Kimberly, The propositions are still ON the mail ballot. I recommend voting "NO" just in case.
Hugs, Cheri

Hi, Cheri,
Quite an interesting topic. First became aware of this 'ballot' situation when I received Mike Gesser's 'Looking Ahead' newsletter of the TriStateSunClub, my member club before I moved out west. In that it (so far) doesn't affect me (AANR/NWNA region), I am thoroughly concerned how this outcome may spread to and effect other clubs and regions. I do need to study more both your statement, Mike's statements, and replys to your statement (SPADOC, Randy, Kevin, etc.).
I have already discussed this with my club (the NATRUALS) president, and will bring it up at the NWNA Convention at (a magnificent new landed club here in the NW (ID)) Sun Meadows, come July. We, the Naturals, are landing a hand, and taking part in this Convention, and it should be an interesting discussion.
Anyhow, knowing Mike thru TTSC, and you thru this website, I have full confidence in both your knowledge, abilities, experience and judgement, and I agree with your recommendation and urge any readers and East members to vote No!
Per some of SPADOC's comments, guess I AM getting more & more involved in club actions & activities!
I 'subscribed to this topic' to keep myself informed.

Joe, Nice that you're getting involved! AANR convention will be at Glen Eden this summer. You might consider attending the meetings.
BTW, Mike/Janet Gesner have been good friends for many years. He's now onboard with AANR as advisor for Marketing. :) Cheri

Please also note that the AANR East convention will be at Cherokee Lodge this July followed by our first and hopefully annual AANR East festival. Folks, please please please let's have more than 4 out of 72 clubs in the AANR East region represented. As you can all plainly see, there are extremely important issues discussed at these meetings. If someone is unwilling to participate in the process, it's not fair to criticize the outcome. Cheri and I may disagree from time to time, but I respect her commitment and I appreciate that no matter what, she insures that her club is represented. If every club had someone like her, there is no telling how successful our region and AANR could be. Thanks Cheri, I look forward to seeing Clyde at convention. Maybe one year we'll have it at a venue that doesn't interfere with your asthma. In the meantime, keep up the good work!!!

There has been a new memo sent to AANR East about the ballot questions.
This is a step in the right direction.

I'm not new to nudism but I am new to AANR and it's politics. In brief what is going on? Who gets to vote on these proposals?
Thanks AL

Al, This was for the members of the Eastern Region of AANR only or those members who are AANR members through an Eastern region club. The regional president put forth some legislation that would have separated the region from the parent organization. The legislation has since been recalled but it still appears on the regional mail ballot for which I continue urging those who have received their ballots to still vote no on them.
AANR has it's meeting in August, those proposals should be in the July Bulletin if it wasn't in the June issue. They probably are also on the Cyber-Bulletin webpage at www.aanr.com
Regards, Cheri

I am a member of Tallahasse Naturally but have my AANR membership directly. Complicated procedures. I agree with you regarding the changing of motions. If the originals were clear why the need for change and certainly not without opposing input.
Thanks
