Sounds like your crew were reasonably respectful of your nude sleeping choice, good to hear. You must have coped some jokes or comments though?

Oh geeze ... it was constant! You can't have thin skin and work on my department but things are changing because the new people don't like teasing or jokes made of them so they get upset and call for higher ups and it usually started with me, at my level. I had to watch what I said in rebuttal, being the Captain.
Got more jokes and harassment from the guys when I first started working. Most of it was sexual jokes or inappropriate name calling. I told them to make fun of me all they wanted but to keep their bigotry to themselves. I think they got the message! :D

I have a question....when you sleep nude and you pull a sheet up over you are you nude anymore? I do sleep with no clothes but I am under a sheet a lot of the night

I think so. I spent most of my life sleeping with some degree of clothing on, but when I started sleeping nude recently, I definitely felt naked, even under the covers.

Understand the question given you are covered up to some extent but of course you are still sleeping naked. You have no bed clothes on, sheets and blankets are not clothes.
In the tropics you may get away with sleeping without even a sheet all night but most places you need something. Our hot nights here in summer may be 25C overnight and inside the house may be warmer but still find I need a sheet at some stage but always consider myself naked, so does my wife. She is always amazed that I sleep naked in winter.

I have been sleeping naked for - oops I have forgotten how long - winter and summer. I have never thought that being covered by a sheet or blanket meant I was clothed

There have only been a few times where I slept naked and uncovered. Those times were in very warm temps throughout the night ... Hawaii and the Caribbean. Usually, when it's really warm and we don't want the A/C on and just use a ceiling fan to cool us off to sleep, it gets cool enough in the very early mornings to cover with a sheet but in those instances where we didn't cover at all it was still in the high 70's to low 80's with a nice breeze and it felt good to be naked and uncovered and we were able to fall asleep.
One of those times, while in the Caribbean, we fell asleep uncovered and my wife experienced the wrath of sleeping uncovered, near water ... mosquitos had a field day! I have a great pic of her lying naked on the bed, reading a book with an amazing tan and pink calamine lotion spots all over her body! LOL ... one of her least favorite pics I've taken of her!
Sleeping covered by a sheet or bed covers doesn't determine if you're still naked or not. Making that distinction is like saying ... "you're not a nudist when you're dressed," and we ALL have to get dressed sometimes.
We just returned from a awesome trip to Italy. Our long, long flight home was not going to be like the ones going and we popped for upgraded seats. The plane was warm and I wore the wrong clothes for such a long flight (11 hrs). I probably should have popped for the upgraded seats that went completely flat and one where I could discreetly strip to get some sleep! LOL After we got off the plane, I told my wife, I was scoping out those first class seats for future long, long flights so I could get comfortable and get some sleep. She replied chuckling ... "I was doing the same thing!"

Fire,
Last year in Hawaii we didn't have AC and we slept on top of the covers and enjoyed it very much. One evening Angie's sister walked into our bedroom to talk to her. The look on her face was priceless but she didn't freak out and we didn't cover up.
She actually came into our bedroom a couple more times and made very good eye contact the whole time. LOL

Yeah, Hawaii can sure offer those opportunities to sleep naked and uncovered. Our very first visit to Hawaii, the island of Oahu, we stayed at a hotel near the river/channel. We were on the top floor ... somewhere around the 20th or higher! When housekeeping walked by, as we were bringing our luggage into our room, I stopped her and asked ... "why aren't there screen doors on the slider?" She said, "why do you need them?" I replied, "we'd like to sleep with the door open but don't want the bugs flying in." She said, "Sir, you don't have to worry about the bugs, they don't fly up this high!" hahahahahaha ... she was right! We slept naked, as usual, no covers and the sliding door wide open. The balcony was private enough that we both had our breakfast naked out there each morning.

Where I live, it can be blasted hot late at night in the summer. 85 degrees at 2 AM in the house. The only sensible thing to do is sleep nude on top of your linen. Still, there are those who will sleep under the sheets with their jammies on.

Makes no sense to wear jammies in heat like that. That hot would take nude plus a fan blowing on you.
