Depends on how old you were the last time you were at Wreck Beach, Doc. Back when you took your profle photo the stairs were hardly an issue....now, well they are likely a bit tougher! :-)

My last visit to Wreck Beach was in the summer of 2013 ... not so long ago. There are 400+ (some say 500+) stairs at Trail 6, and I made it down and back up without bursting an aneurysm. It was a bit of a slog, I won't deny, and those with creaky or store-bought knees and hips, or with heart or lung issues would do well to take it very slowly. There are several YouTube videos of the infamous staircase for those who would like to experience it painlessly
