About 99% of the posted pictures involve people with tight bodies and perky breasts. I am 45 years old and don't have the body I once did. Are there any non-perfect people out there that go to the beaches, and resorts? It would be nice to know that their are others like me who are not tight but "average" who feel comfortable in their skin.

I guess it ultimately depends on the club, but I haven't ran across a perfect body yet. The vast majority are just like the general population, a little flabby and a little saggy and perky breasts are far from the norm. No worries though, that's just the way we are made. Sure, some people take care of themselves more than others but don't let that stop you.

Carol,
There is a wide variety of bodies at a nude beach or nudist club. I don't know of any attempt to classify bodies, and I think that a classification would be undesirable. Let's just enjoy the invigoration of nudism and know that others don't care about body features.

Carol and to all who replied there is no such thing as the perfect body. I know that I am far from perfect inside and out. But I am very comfortable with my body and don't mind showing it. My problem is i am a single male in his early Forties who wants to vistit a nudist resort here in Michigan but not sure how to
go about it by my self. This might sound starnge but I don't know how people might react. I been told by women before that they were nudist but come to find ou that they were lying because they thought I was joking that i very comfortable in the nude. so it kind of scares me to try and go to a nudist resort a lone.

Rest assured that the nudist community looks like every other community. What you see is what you get. Some are thin, more are heavy, most have stretch, scars and sag. Difference is, no one really cares. Fashion is designed to accentuate the positive, conceal the negative and present people in costume. Nude is...nude.
Interestingly, nudists are generally more gregarious and accepting than textiles. Self-selection.
If you arte in CA and want to try a resort, Living Waters Spa in Desert Hot Springs is wonderful for first-timers.

Carol, you might want to locate an issue of N magazine. That will give you a pretty good idea of nudists. The (few) public beaches tend to have a lot more men then the resorts. But,very few of those perfect bodies.

Bob, AANR's Bulletin is also available monthly. TNS's "Nude & Natural" magazine might be purchased at a Borders bookstore.
Carol, My photo is basically my head and shoulders where you don't see the rest of me. I have an appendectomy scar, breasts are NOT as perky as they were in my youth, and the weight as well as gravity has increased. I chose to not have a full body shot, as IMHO, it's the person's words that are important and not what the person looks like.
After being a nudist for over 40 years of my 60, you will see all shapes and sizes with and without body parts.

I'll try and make it short and sweet.......There are no or very, very, very few "Playboy Bunny" types at the resorts and clubs.
We're all just regular people with regular bodies.
There have been a very, very few of those PB bunny types, that we've run into, but they all seem so very unfriendly so we just ignore them anyway. They tend to keep to themselves in very, very small groups while the rest of us really enjoy each other's company and friendships.

cking62, I like the term "comfortable in their their skin", as most, if not all of us non-perfect people really feel "average". Time and nature takes its toll on our bodies, much too be undesired, but knowing most see us for who we're, not what we look like is comforting and like some say "don't worry be happy" wear a Smile.

Yup...but not always. I met a woman at a local resort once who looked like Salma Hayek on her best day. And she was very friendly, and just a very cool person. But in general: yes; the attitude seems to be "You must be looking at me and talking to me because you want me." Very off-putting.
Bunny types are fairly uncommon at the resort; but they are rampant at Haulover. Same thing; a few are cool but many are not.

I have the perfect body with the skin tight (over my developing pot belly)  . The last time I was at the beach I don't think I saw any bunny girl or chippendale men there, just the normal run of the mill, worn down (including me) people sunning themselves in the sun, feeling comfortable in their own skin and having a good time.
