I first "discovered" nudism in my early twenties. I am much older now and still enjoy all that comprises social nudism both at home and at the local clubs. I could not find my interest posted anywhere else on this site so I'm making a new one.

Are there any of you out there, (and I invite the women whose spouses are in this position to comment as well) who have only one testicle and are nudists? I had one surgically removed about 10 years ago and the absence was hidden through pubic hair to a large extent. Now I'm in the process of permanently removing the hair for personal reasons and with the hair removed, it is more noticable that I only have one. I recall one man who, as I walked to the end of the pool to cool off one time at a club, was staring at my crotch rather than looking at my face, and I felt he was probably saying to himself, "Does he or doesn't he have one?". I tried to stare him down but it didn't work nor did it matter in the end.

So when you see someone like this, do you have any particular thoughts or does it matter? I try to ignore it though I can't always, especially in a large group such as a nudist convention or a winter swim night at a community pool.

Any comments?
Naisy

I've noticed men with one testicle, no testicles, no penis. It's something out of the ordinary. You notice and move on. I don't care if anyone is all there or not as long as he/she is a person of good character. As I always say, "looking is fine, staring is not."

Regards, Cheri

10 years seems a lomg time to worry about what other people think.

I still have the regulation issue of two testicles. However, my right nut has a habit of crawling back up into my groin every now and again - no idea why, it just does - so it looks as though I only have one. On cool and breezy days on the beach my scrotum tightens and my left nut has occasionally joined it so I appear to have none !

To my knowledge I've never received any curious stares and nor does it bother me.

People are naturally curious about anything that is out of the ordinary, but something as relatively inconspicuous as a missing testicle will probably go unnoticed by many if not most people. It is very easy for someone like me who is pretty normal to tell you not to worry about it, but I know that is bound to be difficult to do. However, you don't have any choice if you want to continue to enjoy social nudism. Grin and bear (or should I say bare) it.

Good luck,
Bill

There are lots of people out there with surgical scars, amputations, missing nipples from mastectomies and various disabilities. It shouldn't be an issue with nudists, but some people can be rather inconsiderate and insensitive. If it bothers you, or if it would just make you feel better, there is the option of getting a prosthetic testicle implanted. I would think that it would be a relatively simple proceedure-you'd have to check into that. I haven’t researched it much, but here is a page you might want to look at. It has some info and some input from patients. The TCRC Testicular Implants Page. http://tcrc.acor.org/implants.html I’m sure that there are other types of implants not mentioned there that you could check into as well. But if you do, just like for breast implants, do it for you. Not everyone else. Feel good about yourself. You’re OK!

I have yet to meet someone like this, but I imagine I would react exactly as I would meeting someone missing a hand or a leg (and I used to have a good friend who was born without a left hand). I'd notice, and then get over it. Oddities get notice, but they don't inspire shock or horror. Don't worry about it.

I’d have to go along with Phydeau, Cheri,- all the posters actually. It’s really the viewer's problem if they can’t deal with it. Don’t make it your problem. Like I said, the option I suggested is just if it makes you happy.

One of the things I like about the people involved in nudism is that how one looks is not an issue. I have seen people with all kinds of missing parts and it just doesn't matter to them or happily anyone else on the nude beach.

All during my childhood I felt like a deformed freak because I only had 1 testicle. Then when I was 12 I felt pressure on the right side of my groin. I pressed down on it and my right testicle fell down into the deflated sack. It's smaller than the left one and women have commented on it, but it's not a big deal to them.

Ignore it.
Most people are so curious that they cannot help staring unconciously. I am sure there is nothing bad in their mind going more than curiosity.

In my 50+ years I've never seen a perfect physical specimen. We all have imperfections or body parts that we wish were bigger/smaller/rounder/longer/darker/lighter or in some way different. If you accept other people for how they are they will likely accept you in the same way.

Go out and have a great day!

I lost my left testical before I was married in 1969 due to complications of epididymitis. It never bothered me in fact my doctor said I would probably be sterile;4 children,7 grandchildren later I guess he was wrong. What I'm saying is don't worry about it or what others think.

I had testicular cancer in 1998 and lost my left testicle. I have not been aware that anyone hss stared even though I usually wear a piercing in my scrotum ( why not! ).

Hover only having one testicle has it's advantages. I lead an active life and needed to wear tight underwear prior to the surgery to stop my testicles being trapped between my legs - this may have contributed my cancer! Now I can wear whatever underwear I like, usually none!

No one's perfect. No one should complain about anything someone else has or not.

Looking is somewhat involuntary though, even I when I along the street and see someone handicapped I tend to look. Humans are like cats: CURIOUS!

I have two, but that doesn't make you a freak, your still a fellow and equal nudist human like all the rest of us. I used to feel like a freak because I liked (and still do) to be nude while no one else I knew even thought that you could be nude outside of sex. Now I know there are plenty of nudists out there, but I still encounter problems with people who are against nudity.

Nude and barefoot forever!

And Ever!

I hope I am not out of place speaking in here but I think I have something to add from a slightly different prespective. I am a 19 year old female to start and my boyfriend (not into nudism) has a similar issue. to make a long story short here both are retracted 90% of the time unless they are given a good reason to come out.. He was very shy about this as he thought it was "weird". I beleive that all scars, amputations, etc. can tell a life story. So I was curious and asked him what it was all about and no feelings were hurt in the process. We actually find them rather humorus here and there.
