Nude_Terag -- please read this very thread carefully.
Point one is what Cheri said -- It doesn't matter. Nudists have seen everything, and will accept any body type.
Point two is that people have misconceptions about what "normal" is. The key, there, is that it could only take one miseducated person to make you feel insecure. So why worry about that one person?
Even aside from all that, it should be about your own comfort. Let's say you ARE atypical (not that you are, but follow me). It got shot off in the war, for example. What other people think should be THEIR issue, not yours.

Phydeau, i think that is the perfect way to sum up this post, and it shouldnt be an issue but it is and alot of people suffer from "penis envy" i got over it a long time ago but many people haven't.
Also, alot of people say that this post was started as a joke because of the measurments given, however it is a problem and should be addressed in the topic :)

Over my 60 years, I've actually heard many more Women having body "size issues" than I have among Men. The vast majority of these have been overhearing all-female conversations, such as in nearby office cubbies at lunchtime.
But then, God or Nature has made Women so much more dependent upon their physical attractiveness to the other sex. I've even occasionally shown Nudist publications and internet pictures to demonstrate that many Men do not go overboard for the "big bazooms." In my experience, Men with dainty delicate Wives do so, but men with voluptuous Wives fantasize more about petite ladies.
Still other situations are sex-neutral like my leg amputation earlier this year. I usually strike first to get others facing me for the first time to relax about it. I tell them that, having spent much time in a wheelchair for the last 6 years, I regard myself as having "a leg up" on my adjustment, and that I now get more of a "kick" from travel since I am now "footloose." Joining in the fun, my Wife actually told the surgeon to take both legs off so that I couldn't argue with her as I "wouldn't have a leg to stand on." Etc., Etc.
Facing my recent developments, most people start off being much more self-conscious than they need to be for me personally.
When I was growing up, my Father often told me that I should never confuse myself with that part of me that was just my temporary physical shell. He was a very wise person, 1909-2002.

yes I know this is a mens topic but women do have body issues...think of all the women having breast implants. I am not very big in the penis department. I received alot of teasing about my size when I was in middle school. I have been to many resorts and have been frontal with many many people and size is not important. Infact as I get fatter, it seems to even get smaller. My son said to me one day "were's it going dad?"

Hey nudist teen..you are right in the average category and should have no problem being nude. As Men, we get concerned about size and how we look to others. Remember, most of the time you are looking down at your penis and not from across the room so you have a different angle.

I don't really see why men shouldn't be allowed to worry about their appearance. As aznudeken said women endlessly fret over their appearance and get little criticism for going to huge expense to 'correct' it.
So why shouldn't men be obsessed by penis size? The average Internet penis seems to be at least 10", which is enough to make all of us insecure.
(The average is actually about 6" long and slightly under 5" around, from a link on a US .edu site)

I agree McNigel. As Men,we should be concerned about how we look. If I had a very small one, I am sure I would have a major problem. I understand what a sensitive thing this could be to someone small. We all know we get sized up when we are nude and I enjoy that part of nudism. Enjoying my body and showing it off while admiring others. I often get the impression on these forums, that we are not supposed to admire each other and pretend we don't notice what God gave us. When I am nude, I often get semi-hard. Nothing sexual, just the way nudism makes me feel. Boy, did I open a can of worms with that bit of information on another forum. Just proves, we all notice.

What some guys can become obsessed with is conversely not even considered by most everyone else. It's a private war in a man's mind that no one else is even aware of. That's the key to this situation, nobody that matters even has a reason to think that anyone else is too small.
To heal oneself of this worry, you might ask yourself -- how many people at a nudist resort have ever not wanted to talk with you because of your size? Let me guess the number. Is it a whole number less than one? Am I correct? Good.
Of course, you're at the age of heightened sexual hormones, and you haven't had the years in you to put things into proper proportion.
When adult life sets in for good, the last thing you'll worry about is your penis size. Since young men go into the military often enough, you won't have the time or inclination to think about your penis size in basic training. While you may not want to join the military, it does point out that if we are not busy enough, our mind does look for things to think about. When I was your age, I was so filled with sexual curiosity, but never thought about the little guy downstairs as to whether it was big or small. It functioned well, and that's all I worried about.
Don't take yourself too seriously, but do take your education seriously, as well as your future. Your penis will take care of itself.

I am just under six inches erect and when not my penis shrinks up mostly inside of me. I also was just ask why I was never circumcised. I thought I had been but nures who was inserting a Foley Cath at the time said I was not. She siad she had seen a lot of mens tools while inserting a cath befer they had Cardiac Caths put in groins and during LOL
We are born nude and for most part die nude, so I stay nude when I can

Hey, maybe you guys haven't really been to a nude beach. When I first came out to nudism it was at the Gruenewald See in West Berlin. Talk about captivating sights. Twice as many old people as you will see on a stateside beach, war veterans with limbs missing, lot's of fat people, lot's of boney people and very few aestetically pleasing types. You do see the differences in body types sizes etc. but it doesn't matter to you because that is not what you are there for! Unfortunately I don't get to go to the nude places as often as I would like, but whenever I can be naked I am, whether it is at home, cruising down the interstate, at a party of at the beach, I am nude because I like being nude, not to check out everyone else. Hopefully tht is the case with most of the rest of you.

hey Michael, sounds like you've seen alot. You're right, people are just curious and look and maybe make crazy comments. I think when we see any young person with a nice body whether male or female, we just love and appreciate what the human body expresses. we all admire the human body basically and see ourselves that way. enjoy life and enjoy nature!!!!!!

I was worried about my size as a teen until I finally went to a nude beach and saw that I was pretty much comparible to everyone else in the nude. As a teen I was afraid I would get nude and my 5in was going to be small against everyone elses 9in which is what most teens think is normal from watching porn. But once I saw my penis was a good size in relation to most of the others I saw I felt much better.

If you run a few miles, it starts to invert. I've never used a ruler to see how far in it goes but it always comes back out and my wife never complains when it reaches it's full size. Moral of the story is: quit looking at it and go enjoy yourself.
