I have been wondering lately how many of you out their own only just a few pairs of clothes?

As for me I own 13 pairs of each clothes.Of those 13 I use it when we have visitors in or traveling, as well as use when going out when the weather is really cold.

I have been wondering if it's somewhat common for indoor nudists to somewhat have lots of clothes?

I have tons of clothes. I have more than a half of a walk in closet plus a dresser full of them.

I don't have..."lots" of clothes but have a fair amount...everything from pareos to a few suits.

There are too many times when I must be dressed and dressed appropriately for events or occasions.

I do tend to wear the same things over and over again and much of my closet is filled with items I haven't worn in quite awhile.

For as much time as I do spend naked....I've really got too many clothes!

I really need to go through my closet and drawers again. It always seems like I keep donating the stuff that I don't wear much, throw out the stuff that is worn out. I don't really buy new clothes, but it always seems like my closet and drawers are packed full. I don't get it. Why do they keep hanging around? They know I don't like them.

I can completely relate to that! I have about 8 t-shirts that I wear all the time, though I have probably a hundred or so t-shirts. In the summer, I mostly wear the same three pairs of shorts all of the time too.

I have cut back on the quantity of clothes I keep. 90% of what I wear is work uniforms. Last Feb (2009) I had a major rehab to my house. I spent 9 nights in Vegas while they did the kitchen & bath. I think I took ALL of my winter wardrobe. Of course, I also still summer clothes. Rick lives in a warmer climate and has moved his family into a nudist resort for the summer.

We have been enjoying living at this nudist resort for months. It has been weeks since I last wore anything, as for my kids it has been months since they wore anything except for when going to see the fire works for 4th of July.We haven't gone to clothes shopping for both of my kids about four years and they have outgrown most of their few clothes that they had. That now only at least one pair fits them.

Ricki00 - that's awesome. I am so jealous! When I can get in just a couple of totally clothes free days, I'm thrilled and always pledge to someday find a way to spend weeks nude. For your kids to have the luxury to go months that way is - well - they don't know how lucky they are...or maybe they do! I don't know how old they are, but when they get to be adults, they'll look back on their unique childhood and thank you for it. That's the way I wish I could have raised my family. Hell, I'm still young enough - maybe I'll be fortunate to find another wife, a nudist this time with kids and do it all over! Thanks for letting us know it can be reality!

I actually own a lot of clothes. Maybe 10 for uniform and 20 for inhouse clothes and another 20 for clothes that I wear for casual and outdoors.

i keep telling the wife if we move to a nudist resort we can discard 98 % of the clothes and 99 % of the other junk. i have tons of t shirts and dress shirts i never wear i haven't wore pants all summer - shorts and t only and underwear was a passing fad i guess.

I have piles of t-shirts and dress shirts. Several pairs of pants that I wear for different work related events. All of which I would ditch in a heart beat if I could.

I have been trying to work out what I need clothes for .
For the record, I have one set of work clothes, one set of good clothes (if I have to go out anywhere), and probably a few more for whatever. I usually wear one pair of shorts and two T-shirts a week. As I said, what do I need clothes for, just as easy to stay au naturel. My better half is always complaining that I never buy any clothes (she is right, I don't) - at the most maybe (and I mean maybe) when somthing wears out.
