Smoothcrunch:
We are glad that Mel has not "mowed the lawn" in a few weeks. Mrs. Cookie has not mowed the lawn since right before Labor Day, and she has promised me that she has thrown out all razors, and he looking forward to be a "bright copper" courtesy of Ferria for Halloween. We will be having our annual party with our friends, and we all look forward to see if everyone has stayed "smooth", or if they decided to let it all hang out.
Generally by the New Years Party everyone, has a full bush, and the females are trying to out do each other.
Tell Mel to look for Ferria brand, they have some great shades of "RED"!!!
Just remember, we are hear for only a short time, so let's have a good time!!

I have been shaving "the boys" for quite a while now, longer than I have been a nudist. I just like the feel, and it seems to cut down on that itching that us guys suffer from when it gets warm and we are clothed...

I agree with mikeknob. I shave my penis and scrotum, but not my bush. I enjoy the silky smooth feeling when I masturbate. I don't shave my bush--it is small, thin, and scraggly. I wish I had a thick bush, but I never did, even when I was 16.

I use an epilator on my chest, underarms and belly. The skin in the area directly between my legs is too thin, and I end up with abrasions if I try the epilator there. I use tweezers for all I can see, and go to a salon to get the rest waxed. Why not get the whole business waxed and give up the do-it-yourself business? About $100 difference.
My stylist says more men are going in for Brazilian waxing, and she's considering advertising for that segment of the business. I'm glad to hear it. My biggest fear when at the gym showers or other non-nudist occasions of public nudity, is that my lack of hair will be seen as effeminate. It's just neater, cleaner, cooler and smells better from shower to shower. Bacteria lives mostly in the hair.

I've never even thought or considered any of this. I am going to a resort for the first time this week. Is it frowned upon to just be natural?

Not frowned upon. The gr8 thing is people do what they want. I prefer some hair but short; others like the bush although increasing numbers have none. Do what you prefer and have a gr8 time.

I use my head hair trimmers that have guides of different length (for a number 1 cut or a number 2 etc). You can also buy more effective (because they are smaller) pube trimmers too.

I think if you plough through all 36 pages of this thread (I didn't read it all!) you will find a variety of views, the main conclusion being that naturists are relaxed about all aspects of bodies (except in some cases erections in another thread). Therefore go ahead and shave if you want. Shops are full of specialist lady equipment which is suitable for men or as noted above head shavers work well too.

I started shaving scrotum about 20 years ago while in the Army to cut down on male itch. Now there are two razors in the shower. Shave everyday, so when it is hot, your not walking around grabing your crotch. Once you get used to it, only takes as long as it does to shave your face.

Actually, it takes me longer to shave my face than it does to shave my groin. And I actually spend more time getting my pubes to look right than my goatee.
