The best way to beat the winter blues is to join a nonlanded club so that you can at least socialize with nudist friends.

A nonlanded club is one that does not own or lease property such as my club, Travelites, Inc. We have events at members' homes with facilities: hot tubs, pools, trailes, volleyball. We go sailing, boating, and canuding in warmer weather and also have clothed events and participate in community efforts such as the Adopt A Hwy. cleanup.
We can have indoor events all winter long. This weekend is our Superbowl Tailgating & hot tub party. February 1st is our Chinese New Year celebration and hot tub party.
Regards, Cheri

maybe a wierd question but the first time i went nude in public was 2 years ago and i had quite an embarrasing experience as soon as i was naked i was very aroused by this and went very hard now i want to get more envolved in the nudism scene but i am worried i will have the same experience again and do not want to offend anybody i would like to hear peoples views on this and if it is considered bad and if anyone has also experienced this

In my 35+ yrs. of being a nudist and visiting more than 50 parks, clubs, resorts, & beaches, I've witnessed an man's erection only twice. Once the man was sleeping; someone tapped him on the shoulder, and he rolled over. The other time the man was struting around with it. He was told to cover up, take a cold shower, or leave. I know it's a normal function, but it can and is offensive to most people and definitely not appropriate.

Can anyone recommend a free (ad supported OK) webhosting site where we can FTP a naturist (or rather casual nude beach go-er) orientated website. Many of the standard free hosts like 'netfirms.com' have a blanket ban on 'nudity' rather than 'lewd or pornographic nudity'.
As a second question would it be OK to link direct to this forum from our proposed website.
As a matter of info our website will have a focus on East Coast Australia centered on the Byron Bay - Noosa Heads region where it is beautiful one day ... perfect the next.
Thank you.

SunTourer,
Yes! We love links to our site!
Actually it is a very healthy thing for a nudist site to have links coming to it from other nudist sites. So if you have a nudist website with the focus on non-sexual nudism, placing a link on your site to ours is greatly appreciated!
Please link to http://www.nudist-resorts.org/ and use the link text "Nudist-Resorts.Org - Nudist Discussion Forum / Message Board" or similar wording if possible.
I don't know the answer to your other question, but perhaps someone here can give you some information on free hosting.

I would recomment geocities on yahoo. I have had a web page there for a couple years and haven't had any problem with the nude lifestyle pics that are posted. And yes, I think I will go there now and put in a link to nudist-resorts!
Dare to be bare.

Dear Susan; If your gentleman friend is a true nudist and he is familiar with the beach in which he intends to take you then you will enjoy it. At the moment, you may be thinking that someone will notice or the world will stop when you disrobe but if the beach is a real nudist beach then no one will take notice. Remember its natural not unnaturtal to be a nudist. If you have the opportunity, I would suggest that you go to your local nudist resort/club rather then to a beach. The clubs are more controlled and if it is an AANR club it is following the rules of real nudism. My wife and I plus our two kids, age 17 and 15 are nudist and have been for 5 years now. We have no intentions of stopping. We love the life style and the peolpe. Let me know how it goes. Cheers quote: Originally posted by Susan
Hello,
I recently met a fellow who I have been dating for several weeks. He is a nudist. He wants to take me to a nude beach next week and Im really nervous. Ive never been to one and don.t know what to expect. (thats why im looking up everything i can find on the internet) Ive literally been having nightmares of having to strip in front of everyone, that peoiple will laugh etc. Can anyone here tell me what their first time experiences were like. I want to give it a try, I love the idea of no tan lines. Thanks Susan

Can a single guy go to an island resort and not be isolated from the goings on? Do single women frequent these resorts? Am interested in traveling there but don't want to have to read books the entire time!!!

General beach/lake/resort question-
I am traveling to Maine 7/4. Are there any good nudist resorts in the New England area? Mass-Boston/Vt/NH or Conn. that are recommended. My wife and I will not be camping. I am very much a nude-comer to all of this. Thanks - Rob
