Welcome new people!

Reading these posts, I've come to the conclusion that we shouldn't make assumptions about people's intentions. I think that those quieter members are just interested in seeing what others think and maybe what others have to say. If they were here for a thrill, they would soon find out that there are no thrills to be had here, and would soon leave, so I think we are in good company.

We are here to share ideas. It's OK to be a spectator and get ideas and info that way too. I have a friend who is in no way interested in becoming a naturist, but he likes to read as a guest, because he says it's interesting to hear our thoughts.

Again welcome all!

Actually, our "lurkers" are the very reason this site was created! To frequent a message board without posting is commonly called lurking in the common jargon, but it is not meant to be derogatory. On the contrary, this website would be a huge waste of time without those nudists and newbies just checking in for information updates. Otherwise, we'd be sitting here preaching to the choir, wouldn't we?

No, eaglclaw15, we don't have a problem with your comments. As a matter of fact, thanks for helping to keep the noise level down.

i myself read alot in here before i ever spoke,,i wanted to see the tone first..it's my belief that,, it makes for good practice,.
just like ours mothers said..quoting my mother,,son always look before you leap,,that way your going into something with open eyes..
i had to find out if this is a place i wanted to be in..
well i can tell ya this,,in here there's alot of people with alot of different views,,but we still hold a common thread, that is we enjoy being nude,,find the possitive,,focus on that,,and let life unfold before you,.listen and speak want you need,,leave what you don't need or what shouldn't be said alone,.
of course that's just my view..as i said alot of people, alot of views,.

smile it makes people wonder about ya

I think it is a good idea to have the "lurkers", they may be able understand us more from reading our comments, and find out were not half bad.

I've "lurked" on a number of naturist sites, but i've always been compelled to contribute to NRO due to the quality of the people that have contributed to these forums. I think thats a credit to the quality of this site.

Cheers,

I may be a lurker to some degree as I do not contribute much. I am not a big conversationalist. But I do seem to find that the longer I peruse this site, the less shy I am being to type what I am thinking. Maybe the annonymity is also a factor.

I've found this site to be very easy to be a part of. Everyone is welcoming and kind. Even when we disagree- and we do disagree on many topics- we do so in a respectful way that leaves nobody feeling demeaned. That's what I like best about this forum. If lurkers choose to join in the discussions, great. If not, I'm hopeful that they can learn and grow with us while silent.

We have a good, friendly, open group here. It is easy for people to feel at home, and I think the group actually does good in providing information, and helping people interested in naturism.

Kim,

Saying that, I'd still like to see a lot more contributors to our friendly family! Any suggestions on how we can grow this forum into the biggest on the net?

Cheers,
Spontanudity

I think this is the biggest forum on the net. I've visited other forums and none are even close to this one.
