Welcome to the forum someonesangel. There are several nice nudist resorts in the Carribean that would be great for a honeymoon.

Karen & John,
My wife and I went to Club Orient on St. Martin for our "second honeymoon" and loved every minute of it. We had been to St. Martin before, and this time we would have been perfectly happy to stay at the resort the whole time without visiting the rest of the island. The staff and guests are uniformly wonderful and friendly, the climate is ideal, and there's plenty of opportunity to have lots of fun or just to relax, swim and enjoy the sun. We did it all, and we want to go back one day.
If you'd like to stay within the U.S., Palm Springs in CA has many nude resorts such as - - - Inn and Terra Cotta Inn, which caters to couples and is adults only. We haven't been to either of those, but on the East Coast, we've visited Avalon, located in the mountains of West Virginia. It is the closest experience we've had to being back in the Carribbean in terms of staff and people. Plus the scenery is breathtaking, and the facilities are among the best we've seen. I could recommend either Avalon or Club Orient for a honeymoon destination after the times we've had at both places.
Welcome to our forum! I hope you both find a good home here among us. We're a friendly bunch and we have lots of fun, thoughtful discussions.

Karen & John;
Orient beach really is great. We have been to Sandles Nigrel beach Jamaica, and Couples. Those are nice nude resorts, not anything like Hedo.

Kim,
When we went to Sandals, Negril, it was "topless at the far end of the beach only".
We've also been to Sans Souci (it was a Grand Lido then; now it's privately owned, but reports are that it's little changed) which has a separate C/O beach and large pool with swim up bar and grill. Sans Souci is romantic and casually elegant - like staying at a private country house.
Grand Lido Negril also has a small C/O beach, with a tiny pool, bar and grill. You can walk from your room to the beach naked, but only if you get a ground floor "Cove" room - the stairs face into the main part of the resort. This is also elegant, but more formal in the style of a US hotel.
Grand Lido Braco is our favorite: it has A/N (Au Naturel/All Nude), rather than Clothing Optional, side, with separate huge pool, swim up bar, a Club house with 24 hour bar and light food (love the lamb chops!). The A/N rule is considerately enforced: you can walk through to dinner dressed and a first time couple from the "other" side will be allowed one drink to decide if they're going to undress and stay and return to the textile world. On the other hand, security will promptly have a word with you if you swim in a suit (a woman once went swimming in a full one piece suit!) or seem to be there to gawk. I once saw an all male group who came to the pool bar and were "watching" the pool get approached by security just as their drinks were being served. It was interesting to see that all but one left promptly when they finished their drink - the other one undressed and had his next drink in the pool; he came back with his wife later in the day.
The Braco resort is styled after a Jamaican village of a century ago, and has a very friendly atmosphere; the main part of the Village is centered a square and is where the offices, shops, restaurants and disco are. The A/N rooms at Braco are more expensive, so many people walk across from the Village during the day, as well as in the evening for the nude bonfire, the huge hot tub (larger than Negril's pool!) and the new fantasy evening in the Club house. As you can tell, we love Braco - it's where we held our "Bead Fest" Fashion Show the last two years.

Cheers!

Sumonesangel,
Welcome. St Martin is a wonderful Island, as are many others, but Orient Beach is really great.

I would recommend Cypress Cove in Kississimee Fla. This would be a great place ,It's very laid back! Also you are close enough to Orlando for the attractions if you are into that. Plus you spend your money in the USA!!! Dave... P.S. we have been there and it's great! Good luck...

Sumonesangel, Welcome. If you consider Hawaii, consider this: Maui is the only one of our islands with legal (at least they don't bother you) nude beaches. Red Sands Beach at Hana is a long drive but a fabulous beach. Little Beach on the Kihei side is only 1/2 hr from the airport, lots of good hotels and restaraunts, and extremely popular with lots of people. We enjoy both, but they are very different. While you can get very romantic most anywhere on Maui, Little Beach is very fun and exciting, but not romantic in my eyes. Red Sands is very romantic with very small crowds. If you come over, it's worth the trip to see and do both, and Hawaii is still a great Honeymoon destination. Good Luck to both of you.

I must admit, I wasn't thinking of Maui when I recommended Orient Beach. Don has a good point, it's a beauty and should be considered.

Glad to hear there are some nude beaches in Hawaii. I had been told that they frowned on them there. Funny all the natives used to go nude there.
